Lovely hotel
It was a very warm day , and the room was very hot.We used the fan , which helped but aircon would be a massive improvement.
Very welcoming staff. Enormous comfortable bed, very quiet (amazing soundproofing), clean, nice bathroom. Good location just outside the city walls, secure parking opposite the hotel. Gluten-free breakfast options.
Would have preferred more continental breakfast options
Mooie ruime hotelkamer. Prima uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan de mooie binnenstad van Chester. Goed ontbijt, maar helaas weinig keuze in brood en beleg voor mensen die geen Engels ontbijt willen.

Love the hotel. Great Spa and Bar.
No air con and room located next to noisy plant on roof so you couldn’t open window. Seemed a bit overpriced compared to what we have paid here in the past.
Reception book in was pleasant and very helpful.
No fault of hotel but road very busy and noisy from bedroom.

Good location
Generally poorly maintained, toilet didn’t flush - had to be repaired. Which was done quickly. Window didn’t seal properly causing road noise.
Great location on the canal - traffic free 5 mins walk into the centre of Chester. Convenient parking. Room was clean and tidy and bed very comfy. Good breakfast included so excellent value for money. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would certainly stay again when next in the area.

The en-suite in my room was poor. The WC was jammed in a recess with very poor access. The shower was extremely poor. Low water pressure, impossible to adjust the water temperature adequately and poor mounting to the wall. The shower head fell off several times.

The room we stayed in was very warm despite a fan and having the window open.
The location of the hotel is great. The leisure facilities are very good too.
The room was uncomfortably warm despite the outside temperatures not being too high. It may have been due to the room being above the swimming pool and spa. The sofa bed in the bedroom was badly marked and dirty. The bedroom and bathroom is okay, but in need of an upgrade, as their tired looking,

Friendly staff, great location, really clean, bed was really comfortable. The shower/TV were easy enough to use. It was actually my girlfriend's first time staying in a hotel room, she probably thinks most hotels are so nice now.
Breakfast selection was decent, and there was a good atmosphere.

We checked in late after a photoshoot and had a couple of drinks beforehand, so we really appreciated the outstanding service from the hotel staff. Two members of the team kindly helped my partner and me with our luggage to our room, which was greatly appreciated. The front desk staff were incredibly patient, friendly, and professional, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.
Breakfast was exceptional, with a great selection and excellent quality.
