五福居 Five Blessings Hotel

I have really loved this hotel. My room was beautifully decorated, very spacious, and extremely clean. The hotel's location is really good, very close to the places of interest to visit in the old city of Datong, but in a quiet area that allows you to rest at night. Breakfast was freshly prepared, varied and delicious. I would like to highly the kindness and friendliness of the staff. The woman of the reception was very friendly and helpful at all times. The hotel arranged the transfer to and from the train station, which is very convenient. The hotel also helped me find a driver to visit Hengshan Hanging Temple and Yungang Grottoes. Jimu, the hotel driver, was very kind and professional. Thanks to him and his advice, my trip was wonderful and I was able to visit these two amazing places in just one day. If I return to Datong, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Thank you very much for everything.

We had a fantastic stay! The hotel is very comfortable, and every member of the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. They served a delicious and very complete breakfast every morning, and they were always attentive and ready to help us with anything we needed. We truly felt well taken care of throughout our stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Datong. A wonderful experience!

Great location, amazing room and plenty of space. Breakfast provided was healthy, hearty and full of variety. Shuttle service to and fro was included in the room's fare, which made it easy for us to get from the train station to the hotel when first arriving with luggage. Amazing attitude by all staff members here. Highly recommended.

De locatie was geweldig, vlakbij het prachtige oude centrum. Het hotel regelde vervoer naar het hotel en we hadden via het hotel Jimo die ons overal naar toe bracht , de hele dag bij ons bleef en goede tips had, dit alles voor een prima prijs. De kamers waren geweldig en de gastvrouw was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our driver, Jim went the extra mile to get us where we want to go. Gave us an introduction to the ancient city and recommended good food. Breakfast was excellent as well and we want to thank the kitchen for preparing us breakfast for our early outing. We had a fantastic time at Datong due to their superb service.

We loved this hotel so much. We’ve traveled the world, and this has been one of our very best hotel experiences. It’s located just a short stroll from the ancient town, but far enough away to remain quiet and peaceful.

The woman who works here, 刘林英, is a delight. Honestly, I don’t know when she sleeps. She responds to texts day and night and is incredibly helpful—assisting us with the washer and dryer, making a dinner reservation at the most popular restaurant in town, and even waking early to make us breakfast before sending us off to the train station.

The chef also prepared the most delicious breakfast we had in China. We loved the fresh fruit, sautéed vegetables, and knife-cut noodles. Everything was outstanding.

The hotel has a beautiful courtyard, and the room was so high-tech that we hardly knew how to operate everything. It was perfectly quiet, with blackout curtains that made for a wonderful night’s sleep.

The driver recommended by the hotel was excellent as well. He kept us laughing, kept us on schedule, and even took us to see his rural home.

I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Exceptional stay at Five Blessings Hotel. We had a wonderful stay at Five Blessings Hotel with our two small children. The room was beautiful, very comfortable, and perfectly clean. The freshly cooked breakfast was excellent and a great start to our days!The staff was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. A special thanks to the driver, who was super nice and professional: he picked us up at the station and dropped us off for our departure, making everything very easy for us.The hotel also organized a fantastic private trip to the Yungang Grottoes. The location is unbeatable, right inside the Ancient City walls, and all the main sites are within easy walking distance. We truly felt at home and highly recommend it!

The hotel is very comfortable with big new rooms. The location is good and staff is very nice. They even helped us to get a driver to visit the sights. Jimu, the driver, is a very nice guy who also recommended a restaurant to us.
