Host was friendly and tried her best to accommodate us after realising that we had too many and bulky luggage. She made the washroom available for me to do some ironing as well as to store my extra luggage. This was appreciated.
The room was way too small - especially with all the bulky furniture inside the room. It gave the idea of a servents' room that was just upgraded. The fridge fell off the display cabinet, when we opened it as it was balancing on a wooden plank. The shower did not work, it sprayed against the ceiling. Although my baggage was excessive and the host did give me the adjacent washroom to store my luggage, even with only one suitcase and a bag, the room was going to be too small. There is no cupboard or similar to hang clothes or pack clothes away.
I communicated all of these to the host, and left after one night. The host agreed to re-imburse me one night. And after promising to do so, the host has now ghosted me and I did not receive my refund, after following up more than twice and the host promising to do the refund. It is now three months later and still no refund.
The amount in question is small, but in spite of this, I believe that other guests should know that what is advertised is not the true picture and I had a very bad experience overall.
