Extremely disappointing. Request a refund

Only stayed for 1 night out of 3 booked. 1 room was not properly cleaned and stank of cigarette smoke, these were non-smoking rooms. The microwave was not cleaned and was greasy and disgusting. we could not use this room at all although it was paid for. The bathroom doors were sliding doors that did not cover the entire opening of the bathroom, no privacy at all.

More importantly was the lack of security. We were informed by the housekeeper that our family was using all the available rooms aside from 2 long-term tenants. There were men entering and leaving late at night, who were not residents. We felt extremely unsafe as we had young woman in our group that were staying alone in individual units. We left the next day after booking other accommodation.

What a wonderful experience at No 1 Guesthouse
Pros:

The host and the owner are such great people
Friendly and polite
The area is so tranquil and spacious

Cons:

The stay was to short for me, but I will definitely be going there often for longer stays as well
