Spotless room with 2 fans provided. Very comfy bed. Loads of tea/coffee and toiletries in the room. Staff could not have been nicer, went out of their way to provide an Iron and Ironing board on request. Will definitely stay again :)
Fantastically located, public parking at the back of the hotel, room was nicely decorated well presented very clean, staff are very welcoming. I stayed in the room but the pub is downstairs, which is noisy when you’re down there but when you’re in your room, you can’t really hear anything. The bed was very comfortable and lovely duvet and pillows.
The room looked brand new, had all the amenities you'd want and was very comfy
Despite a couple of fans the room was very very hot. I appreciate it's an old building and heat rises to the top floors but it made for an uncomfortable night
Big spacious room and bathroom with natural light and windows that open. Quite unusual these days. The bed was so comfortable slept really well and they had provided fans to keep the room cool. It was spotless.
The only issue was the shower was running on very hot water and wouldn’t go on cold. Not great in a heatwave. Told the Manager and they were very apologetic and am sure it got fixed the next day
Comfortable bed & pillow. Lots of storage in the bedroom.
Incredibly hot, windows only very opened slightly in room, not at all in stairwell.
TV signal very poor, couldn’t watch programmes.
No hooks or hanging in bathroom.
Shower ineffective, rainfall option barely worked, other attachment hand held option only.
Light sensor in bathroom meant disturbance to others in the night.
No breakfast option & nothing available nearby.
Bedrooms on second floor, very steep stairs & no alternative access.
Lady who checked me in behind the bar was lovely.
The rooms are really clean and comfortable - quite a bit of free parking across the road from 7pm until 830am so a big bonus for London!!
No Air Con - unfortunately the two fans didn't help me at all I was still awake after 3am - it was lovely that they tried but UK summers are now getting crazy hot so I feel this is an investment that needs to made.
Staff and Manager, very welcoming, polite and helpful. Room bigger compared to other locations and comfortable. Being a pub it was ideal for having a drink or two in the beer garden when returning late evening, at a very reasonable price too. Often not an option or at an extortionate price, when staying in some central London hotels etc.
All as described when booking, so nothing to dislike. Only suggestion/improvement, would be if breakfast could be provided, I can appreciate why currently not an option, but thought worth mentioning.
Room was spacious and clean. Comfy bed. Added touch with tea & coffee bits and toiletries included. Pub downstairs had a lovely vibe and we enjoyed the garden. Owner is lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Walking distance to Crystal Palace Park so perfect night stay for gigs
Great location and friendly atmosphere, great to relax with a drink in the bar after a walk back from a Crystal Palace event.
No air conditioning but 2 fans in the room made it comfortable

Clean and modern room, wasn’t too loud being above a pub which I was worried about.
The bathroom door didn’t fit the frame so wouldn’t shut properly.
The property was close to the venue we were going to and the room was what we expected. Thanks to Mike for looking after us.

There is no parking at the location, but free parking is available further down the road. We stayed during the heatwave & the room only had a fan, so it was very hot.
Friendly staff, went out of their way to accommodate us. Spacious clean and modern room, comfy bed and within a 15 min walk to Crystal Palace Park
No Air Conditioning- we stayed during a heatwave, I honestly don't expect rooms to have air con although it would have been nice
