The most helpful staff in a fantastic location.
Pros:

All aspects of this stay worked out very well. Of course the rooms were of the highest standard as one would expect however, I call out the performance of the staff for particular praise. All of those that we encountered were highly professional, courteous and absolutely willing to meet our needs on a variety of fronts.
Well done to the Wedgewood.

Die Lage ist perfekt, toller Service, unglaublich gute betten und Kissen!

Cons:

Klimaanlage direkt aufs Bett und dünne Fenster bei Kälte suboptimal, wurde dadurch krank. Nur die Betten waren neu im Zimmer der Rest sehr alt und eher nicht 5* sondern 4*

Over priced. Expectations were not met. Disappointing
Pros:

We loved the fireplace greeting you in the lobby. The attached restaurant was sumptuous and luxury old school with a fine dining menu available. Staff were good, although it felt a little like pantomime in terms of the over practise check in Speel.

Cons:

Absolutely not worth the $700 a night price mark. There was signs about the room with charge costs of more coffee pods available $2 or if the glass water bottle was misplaced $20 replacement. Then the email I got back after requesting two banana put in our room ( we arrived at 1030pm from Australia ) so we had something available to eat- I was asked $35 for a fruit basket. It all felt like they did not care they were already being charged far too much money for the standard room that didn’t even come with breakfast or more than just ONE single baby bottle of moisturiser.
It felt like they were not at all gererous of wanting to give the guest anything extra, go the extra mile or win us over at all.
The gym was basic and temporary, the balcony in our room was a view of dumpsters, tramps and a dirty laneway. The shower in the bathroom was just a low pressure single head shower spray. We were very disappointed. Moves to the Sutton Hotel after 3 days and loved it there.

A refined and comfortable stay with exceptional service in one of Vancouver’s most charming boutique

Our stay at the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa was exactly what we hoped for elegant, comfortable, and perfectly located in the heart of Vancouver. The hotel has a warm boutique atmosphere, beautiful interiors, and exceptional attention to detail. The staff were genuinely welcoming, and the room upgrade made the experience even more special. Bacchus Lounge added a classic, sophisticated touch to the evenings, and the overall service felt personal rather than corporate. A perfect mix of luxury, charm, and comfort. We would absolutely stay again.

Cons:

Very little to complain about overall. If anything, the gym and wellness facilities could be slightly larger, and some areas of the hotel feel more classic than modern — but that is also part of the hotel’s charm and character.

Truly exceptional with a warm welcome
Cons:

This hotel is the best place I have stayed in my 40 years of travel. Truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the room was comfy and well sized with a balcony and lovely park view and room service was amazing. The restaurant on Michelin recommended and has fabulous food.
