Cons:

I have never given a bad review for a hotel and I wouldn’t say that Les Saules was bad. However, it didn’t feel like a hotel because it was physically removed from the reception (which was in the sister hotel on the other side of the market square). The staff were helpful but when I went to ask them at reception where I could buy a takeaway coffee in the morning, they directed me to the boulangerie. I walked across the square to the boulangerie and asked if they did takeaway coffee and they said they didn’t and directed me to the “cave” on another side of the square. I walked across to the cave and there was nobody there although it was open. I gave up at this point. Lastly, the pillow in my room was awful. Extremely lumpy! My husband’s,on the other hand, was fine so I guess I was just unlucky. The room was clean and spacious and the toiletries were nice.

Pros:

nice shower, clean sheets, clean room

Cons:

Aged and tired, worn out mattress, old and depressing interior, deserted feel, strange smells everywhere including toilet smells in room, partial updates like showers help but not enough. Deferred update and maintenance feel in the surroundings, way overpriced

on s'en souvient: bravo pour l'accueil et les équipements

équipements et terrasse de la chambre

Cons:

Petit déj: au top, il faut néanmoins traverser la place du village et chercher le lieu ...,
les chambres sont excentrées et pas très bien indiquées
La fermeture de la porte d'entrée de la chambre et délicate : il faut claquer la porte quand on part !

La divine cuisine ,le confort et la modernité de la chambre et de la salle de bain

Cons:

A l ancienne auberge pas assez de fraîcheur, 2 ventilateurs sur 4 qui fonctionnaient...
Le vin servi dans des verres non adaptés...
Les mouches très dérangeantes. Et nombreuses ainsi que les moucherons ????

Pros:

Nous avons eu une déconvenue en arrivant à l hôtel des saules.
Un homme de la réception a eu une attitude très professionnelle pour arranger ce problème et je l en remercie.
Il a été à notre écoute et notre séjour a pu se prolonger..

Cons:

Privilégier le 4 étoiles.
Ça vaut le coup

L'absence de personnel à l'arrivée il faut se rendre à la réception principale dans l'autre bâtiment. Cela donne une impression assez désagréable d'être dans un de ces établissements modernes et froids sans personnel.
