Fabulous & helpful reception staff. Lovely good size rooms, lots of warm timber tones. Happy travels

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sapa Mountain Resort. We arrived early and my daughter was not feeling well. Immediately the reception staff were friendly and super helpful, and went out of their way to assist us. They bought ginger tea, and managed to get us early access to our room, which was amazing and greatly appreciated, and asked if there was anything else they could do to help. The room was wonderful - welcoming, warmly decorated, of good size, and a lovely bathroom. There was substantial renovation work being done on the grounds during our stay (which was privacy screened off), but that didn't affect our stay at all, and the tradesman were not disruptive at all.

Cons:

The only thing that I think could be improved on was the breakfast. I felt it didn't have much choice or variety - but I'm comparing it to hotels in Hanoi.

Pros:

Bel hôtel bien situé. C’est très propre et bien aménagé. À notre arrivée la chambre était trop chaude. Les employés ont réussi à corriger la situation. Le déjeuner est excellent avec des choix pour tous les goûts.

Cons:

Il y avait de la construction mais tout s’arrêtait à l’heure du souper.

Das Hotel wird gerade umgebaut, sodass es von morgens bis abends starken Baulärm gab. Ich hatte in den Rezensionen davon gelesen und 2x nachgefragt, ob die Bauarbeiten fortgesetzt werden, habe aber keine Antwort erhalten. Hätten wir das vorher gewusst hätten wir storniert

The staff was very helpful.

Cons:

The resort is under reconstruction. Only one block was open and the others were being demolished. There was constant noise from the demolition. There was hardly anything in the resort to explore - bulk of it was cordoned off. If we knew this we would not have booked this place.

Cons:

We were unable to control the air conditioner from our room, and had to ask reception to make it cooler. The air conditioner did not work well and our room was hot overnight, which was really strange because outside it was cool enough that you could wear a jumper. The room also had a musty smell to it which was disappointing.

Achtung: Urlaub auf einer Baustelle!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück umfangreich und vielseitig.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist seit wenigen Tagen eine Baustelle weil es die dringend notwendige Renovierung bekommt. Spa, Fittness- und Wellnessbereich sind geschlossen. Noch schlimmer: an allen drei Tagen herrschte Baustellenlärm und ein Wechsel des Zimmers hat nicht sehr viel mehr Ruhe gebracht. Für unseren dreitägigen Aufenthalt ein absoluter Reinfall.

Pros:

El hotel es muy bonito. Está muy bien ubicado, cerca del centro pero en una parte más tranquila. El desayuno es muy completo, con muchas opciones saladas y dulces.

Cons:

Al momento de la reserva preguntamos por hacer el check in anticipado y nos dijeron que podríamos hacerlo según la disponibilidad de las habitaciones al momento de llegar. Sin embargo, cuando llegamos nos dijeron que teníamos que pagar 500.000 VND. No fue un inconveniente pero hubiera estado mejor saberlo al momento de reservar.
Por otro lado, habíamos pedido una habitación con cama matrimonial, lo cuál ha sido aceptado por el hotel al momento de la reserva, y al entrar a la habitación teníamos dos camas individuales. No fue un problema porque a los pocos minutos nos dieron una habitación como habíamos pedido.
Sin embargo, nos dimos cuenta que sí habían habitaciones disponibles pero que no nos querían dejar entrar a la habitación anticipadamente sin pagar de más.
