Cons:

Nuestra experiencia en este hotel ha ido empeorando con cada visita. Notamos un cambio de administración que parecía traer mejoras y quisimos darle una última oportunidad, pero actualmente el lugar se percibe mucho más descuidado: las instalaciones están viejas, con poco mantenimiento y en condiciones de limpieza escasas. Se fue la luz solo en el hotel, un cuarto se quedó sin agua, el portón del estacionamiento ya no funciona y hay que esperar que de recepción vengan a abrir por qué tampoco tienen personal.
La limpieza en general es claramente deficiente: encontramos manchas en las sábanas, el sillón tenía un olor a polvo y la alberca nunca estuvo limpia durante nuestra estancia, lo que refleja una falta de higiene preocupante en todas las áreas.
La situación más preocupante ocurrió durante esta estancia, cuando mi suegro, una persona adulta mayor, sufrió una caída debido al mal estado del balcón. Lejos de mostrar una atención adecuada o empatía ante lo sucedido, el personal se enfocó únicamente en una mancha de sangre en la almohada, la cual tenía un costo de limpieza de $500, nos pareció totalmente inapropiado que nos fueran a cobrar "es



e servicio de limpieza" al carro cuando se podía realizar días despues durante el check out.
Por seguridad, higiene y atención al cliente, este hotel ya no cumple con lo mínimo esperado. Definitivamente no volveremos y no lo recomendamos.

La atención del personal regular, trataron de cobrar cosas que no eran ciertas, como la limpieza de las toallas, en dos ocasiones el mismo tema, según por manchar las toallas además no hacían el aseo

Pros:

La decoración del exterior es bonita y la pileta esta muy buena.
El personal de recepción muy bien predispuesto

Cons:

En mi ducha no había agua caliente, en el resto de la habitación si.
No había ni vasos ni platos ni cubiertos. Lo pedi pero no me dieron porque mi habitación era la más básica.
Contraté un tour mediante el hotel el mismo dia y la operadora cambió el recorrido sin precio aviso (el personal del hotel no lo sabia pero tampoco nadie se hizo cargo).

Скрипучая дверь. Нет никакой посуды, микроволновки и даже стаканов. Что бы выехать с парковки всегда надо было просить рецепцию, что бы открыли ворота

Mayan Art hotel: luxurious comfort at very affordable price
Pros:

My room was like an apt with 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen and patio that was immaculate, beautifully decorated and within walking distance of the beach and 5th Ave. There is a convenience store Oxxo and a bakery right outside. The courtyard with the pool and chairs was very welcoming. Rodrigo who speaks English was extremely helpful with all the intricacies of the door lock and location of things. Playa del Carmen is beautiful and I wish I could have stayed longer.
