Exceptional stay at the Manior De Mathan. We will return, 5 stars
Pros:

This was my second stay in this wonderful Hotel, it did not disappoint, the rooms are decorated to a very high class the gardens are immaculate, everything is spotlessly clean, friendly and welcoming staff. Lovely breakfasts, we were blessed with good weather so had our breakfast outside each morning. Eggs cooked to order. jams and cheese and ham. All the usual continental breakfast items. There are also Drinks available Until late evening. This is a wonderful setting not far from the Canadian and British landing beaches.

Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Cons:

The only thing missing from this hotel currently is the option of an evening restaurant, however there are a couple of options, the hotel is happy to make you a charcuterie board of cheeses and it also supplies you with a list of local restaurants and can book you a taxi should you wish not to drive. We opted for a restaurant in the local town of Bayeux. Only one small thing, A small fridge in the room would have been nice.

Très bel endroit, et un accueil agréable et chaleureux
Pros:

Le manoir est un endroit magnifique et très agréable. Nous avons été très bien accueillis, que ce soit à notre arrivée, pendant le séjour et jusqu'au départ (merci de m'avoir rappelé pour m'indiquer que j'avais oublié un bagage !). Le petit déjeuner est excellent, et il est possible de prendre un rafraichissement en terrasse. La chambre était spacieuse et bien équipée.

Cons:

Le seul bémol est que notre chambre donnait directement sur la terrasse commune, ce qui nous a obligé à fermer les rideaux pour un peu d'intimité. Rien de très grave, mais les gens qui consommaient un verre étaient à notre fenêtre, c'est dommage.

Cons:

My only bug bear was the shower curtain. The rail was too far in so you were having wet curtain cling to you whilst showering - yuck! I would expect a perplex/ glass screen in such a highly rated establishment.

Fantastiskt mysigt och trevligt boende som kändes mycket avkopplande, lantligt och franskt.
