Pros:

The location and grounds are the best in the area.
The hotel is full but never seems crowded. The beach is right there, just walk across the grounds and go through the gate.
It's a 15 minute walk to the small village of Alvor where there are some excellent restaurants and small shops.
It's an easy 12 minute drive to the larger town of Portimao.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the rooms are starting to show there age but certainly not a reason to avoid the establishment. Just don't expect North American 5 Star standards.

We hadden een speciale grote kamer met een heel ruim balkon. Schaduwrijke ligplaatsen en eigen parkeerterrein voor de gasten.

Air climatisé ne fonctionnait pas, après plusieurs reprises nous nous sommes plaint au personnel, rien a faire … les lits n’étaient pas confortables du tout et le prix pour le buffet très dispendieux rapport qualité prix

"Aspectos positivos e oportunidades de melhoria"

O que mais valorizo neste local é a sua envolvente e o espaço exterior, que proporcionam um ambiente agradável, tranquilo e propício ao descanso. Destaco também a simpatia e o profissionalismo de alguns funcionários, cuja forma acolhedora de receber e atender os clientes faz toda a diferença e é um dos principais motivos que nos leva a regressar. A combinação da tranquilidade do espaço com o atendimento humano e atencioso torna a experiência global muito positiva.

Cons:

Apesar dos aspetos positivos, considero que existem áreas com margem para melhoria. A piscina exterior evidencia sinais de degradação que afetam a experiência dos utilizadores. Além disso, sinto falta de atividades ao ar livre que anteriormente eram promovidas, como aulas de introdução ao mergulho ou sessões de ginástica na piscina, que valorizavam bastante a oferta e dinamizavam o espaço.

Também o ginásio tem vindo a perder qualidade, tanto pelo estado de conservação como pela falta de renovação e adequação de algum do equipamento disponível.

Por fim, penso que seria benéfico reforçar a formação de alguns colaboradores, não só ao nível do atendimento ao cliente, mas também ao nível da comunicação e da liderança de equipas, promovendo uma interação mais positiva, respeitosa e motivadora entre todos os profissionais.

Overall a good hotel, all staff pleasant and outside areas good. Very central. Only had the. Breakfast. Plenty of choice

Friendly staff, lovely outdoor pool, amazing breakfast

Cons:

The air conditioning didn’t work at all. Our room and the hotel was so hot. Asked for a fan, which they didn’t have. Wouldn’t stay again for this reason
