Pros:

We were very happy with our family stay at the hotel. The hotel was very comfortable, and we really enjoyed the facilities. Everything was clean, tidy, and well maintained.
Overall, we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay and would happily recommend the hotel to other families.

Cons:

There wasn’t anything significant that we didn’t like. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and had a very positive experience.

Pros:

Nous avons passé un fabuleux séjour au sein de l'hôtel. Le personnel est accueillant et aux petits soins. La chambre est très belle et confortable.
La vue depuis la piscine est à couper le souffle. Allez y lors du coucher le soleil, vous ne serez pas déçus !

Pros:

The location is very beautiful, just be careful cause it’s 50 minutes more less from the city. Very luxurious if you don’t take the cheaper rooms which they will put you behind the restaurant so very noisy day and night

Cons:

The location is very beautiful but it’s very far away from the city and if you don’t have a personal driver it’s very hard to find a PickMe, or hotel will charge you 8000 rupees for one of their drivers (PickMe costs 2500, we could get it).
Everything has an extra charge, even water, in a country where tap water is of course not drinkable for not locals. All other hotels where we stayed, as well as in every hotel in India too, they just give you for free because they know the situation.
Rooms are nice, but very empty for the price paid.
Last but not least, very funny that once checked out and on our way to Colombo, the hotel stopped us after we were already with the driver at the exit gate, and obligated us to come back because we forgot to pay 400 rupees (1€) for a cola we took from the fridge and forgot to charge. Embarrassing in our opinion for a place which calls themselves luxury boutique resort which nights are >150€ for a country like Sri Lanka.
Won’t be back and I suggest you many other beautiful resorts in the area 💚

Pros:

The location is fantastic. The domain is so beautiful. The pool is just the most beautiful infinite pool I have ever seen because of the view. I had a great walk tour with Gude, the naturalist from the resort. We had also a warm welcome and renewed attention from Hansi. The bedroom and bathroom were perfect. It was our most expensive hotel at the end of our tour in Sri Lanka and it was definitely worth it.

Cons:

The coffee was the only disappointment.
And our stay too short. If I had to plan it again I would have stayed 2 nights.

Bon rapport qualité / prix sauf la nourriture.
Pros:

La localisation incroyable dans les montagnes, le personnel aux petits soins, la piscine à débordement avec une vue magnifique (il faut y aller pour le sunset), la salle de sport.

Cons:

La nourriture n’est vraiment pas digne du standing de l’hôtel, notamment le buffet qui est presque immangeable. Peut être que les plats à la carte sont légèrement meilleurs mais chers pour la qualité. C’est dommage car ça gâche une partie de l’expérience.

Stunning setting with great staff
Pros:

Amazing setting with stunning views from the slightly chilly pool.
Staff were all super friendly and helpful and made you feel really welcome.
We stayed in forest villa which was perfect for a family of 4.
Food was great.
Would definitely return.

A beautiful and peaceful escape surrounded by nature, with amazing food, wonderful people and a trekking experience we’l
Pros:

The location is honestly beautiful. Being surrounded by so much greenery and mountains made the whole stay feel so peaceful and relaxing. The food was amazing throughout our stay and we genuinely had nothing to complain about. We also really enjoyed the trekking experience, especially because Isuru, who took us trekking, was so knowledgeable and made the experience really interesting. The front office team, especially Shane and the others, were so friendly, welcoming and always ready to help with anything we needed.

Cons:

Honestly, there really wasn’t anything we didn’t like. We had a wonderful stay and the whole experience was very well looked after.

Wonderful experience.
Pros:

Staff/hospitality was topnotch. Location was magical. They prepared a cake and surprised my buddy after dinner as this was a birthday trip. They also put a very pretty thoughtful birthday greeting on the bed.

Cons:

The AC in our room was weak. Luckily the bungalow had a fan that we used to supplement ventilation in our room.

Spectacular location with great staff, refinements to food menu would make perfection
Pros:

Really spectacular location nestled on an old tea plantation. Our room's terrace has a perfect view of the distant mountains, and it was a joy to watch the birds and wildlife. Don't listen to those complaining about it being far from Kandy - that's the whole point!

The staff were mostly nice and accommodating. The food was good but could be improved given the price (more below).

We had some problems with our room the first night, but management went out of their way to change our room for us the next morning (to an even better view).

Cons:

Approaching the stay, the food options were very confusing and not transparent at all - the price for board via booking is much more expensive. We ended up going for board negotiated at arrival, which we were told was a separate menu but ended up being the same set menu previously offered as a daily price. We also weren't told in advance when we asked that a la carte was an option.

The food was good, but not great (maybe we have high standards) even irrespective of the price. Of the five course meal, one is a icey sorbet. The soups and entree were hit and miss, desserts too sweet and not authentic. The mains however were consistently good (even if fish was consistently overcooked)
