CARCASSONNE se disfruta mejor desde el Hôtel du Château & Spa
Pros:

Es el mejor establecimiento para disfrutar de Carcassonne y tener una experiencia de muy alto nivel. La ubicación y el servicio está a un nivel superior. Para nosotros es la segunda vez que disfrutamos de este Hotel y repetiremos sin dudarlo en el futuro. ALTAMENTE RECOMENDABLE.

Wir würden ein anderes Hotel buchen, sofern wir Carcassonne nochmals besuchen.
Pros:

Die Lage: sehr dicht an der Altstadt. Im Mai ist der Verkehrslärm (das Hotel liegt direkt an einer Zubringerstrasse für die Touristen) absolut ok. In der Hochsaison könnte es arg laut werden. Der Garten ist schön.
Der bewachte Parkplatz ist ebenfalls gut, allerdings für heute übliche SUVs etwas eng.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war schön, allerdings nur über eine sehr schmale Treppe (Hühnerleiter) erreichbar. Wir haben die notwendige Kleidung am Auto in eine kleine Tasche umgepackt. Das Badezimmer hatte in der Dusche überwiegend schimmelige Fugen und das Wasser in der Dusche lief nur sehr schlecht ab.
Es wurde leider nichts gegen sehr laute Hotelgäste unternommen, die um Mitternacht betrunken auf der Terrasse gesungen haben.

Amazing Hotel, fantastic staff and no better view of Carcassonne. Would return in a heartbeat. :)
Pros:

Location was amazing, Staff were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make us welcome. Breakfast was superb and the whole place has a friendly and open feel and it very much became a perfect base to explore the amazing medieval city. Being a stones throw from the main gate of the Medieval city makes wandering in and out for meals, exploring etc a much more relaxed affair. We were able to explore every inch of the place at our own pace, in no small part to the hotels proximity to the city.

Cons:

The Room although stylish and well set out, was smaller than expected for the price, and missing a few basics, for example: Coat hooks for the outside coats, and a few more drawers/surfaces to be able to keep it tidy when accumulating items from exploring. Accept that there is limited space to work with, but there were for example, two leather stools which although looking very nice had limited use as storage.

Located right at the city gates. It really made the entire experience even better than planned. The room was super fun, colorful and cozy.

Cons:

Not having a giant pillow on the bed that we couldn't figure out why it was there :). Seriously, that was all. Great experience, and even the giant pillow added some fun.
