Die Lage direkt vor dem Eingang in die Altstadt war hervorragend.

Cons:

Zuerst entsprechen die Fotos in Booking.com nicht der Realität. Das Hotel ist deutlich kleiner, einfacher und weniger einladend als die Bilder suggerieren. Als wir ankamen fuhren wir direkt zum bewachten Parkplatz. Leider weigerte sich das Personal das Tor zu öffnen, da wir noch nicht eingecheckt waren. Ein Umkehren oder Rückwärtsfahren war wegen der enge nicht möglich. Dennoch zeigte sich das Personal sehr unflexibel. Später bekamen wir Zimmer 16, welches nach Schimmel und Moder roch. Als wir die Rezeption darauf hinwiesen, erklärte man uns, dass dies das Raumparfüm sein. Später hinzugekommene Zimmermädchen kannten bereits das Problem und versuchten mit Reinigungsmittel die Abflüsse zu säubern. Dies half nur bedingt. Eine Lösung durch das Management erfolgte nicht. Auch waren die Barbedienungen und die restlichen Angestellten nicht sehr motiviert. Freundlichkeit scheint kein Einstellungskriteriem zu sein. Die positiven Ausnahmen waren die Zimmermädchen, die sehr freundlich und engagiert waren und das Problem mit dem Gestank lösen wollten. Noch ein zusätzliche Hinweis für Autofahrer. Bei der Einfahrt sind zwei Begrenzungssteine, die nur schwer erkennbar sind, so dass man diese leicht touchieren kann. Dies ist scheinbar schon vielen Reisenden passiert, da die Steine bereits aus der Verankerung gerissen und nur notdürftig erneut plaziert wurden. Über eine andere Lösung scheint sich das Management keine Gedanken zu machen...

Wonderful stay!
Pros:

What a wonderful hotel! We booked the day before for a last minute overnight and the hotel was amazing! All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and bar were lovely. And we loved the hotel dog, what a sweetie.

De kamers, de badkamer en de douche zijn veel te klein. Dit is geen 4-sterren maar een 3-sterren niveau.

Am Fuße der Burg fantastisch. Es gibt kein anderes Hotel außerhalb so nahe (200 meter)
Der Blick wenn die Sonne morgens aufgeht unbezahlbar.
Frühstück ohne Buffett mal etwas ganz anderes.
Es wird vom Kaffee bis zu den gekochten Eiern das Obst die Brötchen alles wird serviert

Room was fantastic, staff were great and food everything we needed.
Pros:

Location and parking was excellent as was the room. We booked a junior suite and this was well worth the money. Breakfast was great, served to the table, plentiful and very fresh. I booked a treatment and this was very professional.
