Very nice little Hotel, close to the beach and restaurants, everything we needed as a family!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at La Gran Tortuga, the family managing it was very nice and helpful (we could even wash our clothes). The rooms were airconditioned, simple but comfortable. It is located very close to the beach and everything we needed to discover Isabela!

Pros:

The owners are very friendly and ready to help. The rooms were clean. They weren’t huge but had enough space. Location is great very close to the main plaza and 15 mins walking from the port/harbour and 5 mins walking from one of the beaches and restaurants.

Cons:

Rooms need at least one chair, there was nowhere to seat. Internet connection wasn’t great. Breakfast was basic and no variety from day to day. The communal area (breakfast area) needs improvement, is very basic and doesn’t look any modern or particularly well taken care of. Overall looked better in the pictures than in reality.

Vi var heldige, at få det øverste værelse, skøn udsigt og hyggeligt. De sødeste og mest hjælpsomme mennesker på stedet, vi længe har mødt.

Lo volvería a repetir, la isla muy bella y su gente linda
Pros:

Exelente atención desde la llegada, el desayuno, las habitaciones cómodas, se siente como en casa, además Don José brinda una excelente atención y recomendaciones de lugares a visitar, lugares para comer, actividades que se puede hacer.

Cons:

Debía planificar por lo menos unos 4 días en Isabela para conocer más, existen bellos lugares y actividades para realizar

We loved Isabela island and staying here was perfect!
Pros:

Excellent location, spacious rooms, comfy bed and excellent shower! Also delicious coffee and breakfast. The lady that runs the place is super lovely and very helpful!

Un beau séjour sur Isabella.
Pros:

Juanita prends bien soin de ses clients.
Elle nous a réservé traversier et excursions en quelques instants.
Les petits déjeuners sont excellents et variés. Vraiment bien.

Más que recomendable!
Pros:

La Gran Tortuga es un hostal céntrico en Puerto Villamil. Destacaría la amabilidad de Juana, su dueña, el desayuno, la amplitud y la limpieza de las habitaciones. Sin duda calidad precio de lo mejor que hemos visto en Ecuador.

Cons:

Añadiría una zona de tendido para bañadores y toallas, ya que es un destino de playa y las habitaciones no tienen balcón.

Pros:

Très bien situé, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le petit-déjeuner était très bon, la chambre était grande et confortable. L’hôte était très sympathique même s’il ne parlait pas beaucoup en anglais.

Cons:

Un peu de décoration dans les chambres ça pourrait être sympa.
