Pros:

Very comfortable art themed hotel with a cat play room, video game consuls in every room and even a spa. Rooms are very charming anf beds are incredibly comfortable. Location also great if you want to be close to the historic bell tower and city wall area, great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!

Cons:

My room was on the laundart machine floor so i could hear it still quiet late. Avoid floor 5 for maximum comfort.

We booked a suite. The automatic mahjong table was the best part of this holiday.

Pros:

This hotel is located at the center of an old town and is very convenient to go everywhere. There are plenty of haircuts, restaurants, shopping, and even massages. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful to all my requests. They also helpped me to send express deliveries to other cities.There is Luandry facility in the hotel with washer & dryers. Highly recommeneded.

Cons:

The shower floor is not that flat so water does not drain very well but the cleaning staff always clean up everyday. This does not really bother us too much.

Fantastic stay in a great city. We really enjoyed Xi’an. The stay in this room made it even better!
Pros:

Great location, great room. We had fun playing mahjong and video games that were provided in the room. The front desk staff were really helpful. Plus cute cats in the lobby!

Cons:

Our room faced an elementary school so we were awaken by the school bell and children chatter every morning. Not really an issue for us though.

A great atmosphere and ambience
Pros:

A truely nice hotel, amazingly appointed and fabulous staff, helpful and cheerful at all times. The cats were so adorable and there was baby ones. The location is perfect the bed and bathroom are perfect and super clean. The room has nintentdo switch and fridge, there’s laundry service. The breakfast was delicious. Overall the place is a ten out of ten.

Enjoyed my stay.
Pros:

Location was excellent. Bus stops were right outside hotel. A bit of walk to the Metro but manageable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The cats were a treat.

Cons:

Breakfast was not very appetizing. Could have more local fare instead of trying to do western food.

Purtroppo lo staff non parla inglese, una sera si è allagata la stanza a causa dello scarico otturato della doccia e non sono stati in grado di assisterci nemmeno fornendoci biancheria asciutta. La pulizia della stanza non è mai avvenuta perché siamo rientrati alle 13:30 dal tour dell’esercito di Terracotta e gli inservienti non erano ancora arrivati alla nostra stanza. Lo staff è comunque gentile e disponibile ma ci sono state alcune criticità facilmente evitabili.

Une pépite pour Xi'an
Pros:

Hôtel situé tout proche de la vielle ville (10 min à pied de la porte sud) et proche des supérettes avec de nombreux restaux tout autour.
Logement propre avec un service effectué tous les jours. Les chambres sont spacieuses.
Le personnel est si serviable et souriant, c'est un réel plaisir d'y séjourner

Cons:

Détail : certaines chambres donnent sur une école avec des animations matinales pour les élèves ce qui peut occasionner un peu de bruit mais rien de gênant si vous avez des boules quies

Hotel lujoso, bonito y agradable, con gatitos
Pros:

Habitación súper completa, calidad en todo (champú, gel), tienes hasta una consola de videojuegos por si te aburres.
El personal de recepción súper atentos y educados.
Nos hicieron el desayuno a una hora antes de lo indicado sin problema, e incluso en el check-out nos hicieron un regalo

Cons:

Me gustó todo, excepto los gatos, habían gatos muy bonitos y cuidados, pero si eres alérgico a ellos, debes tener en cuenta que hay comp unos 5 sueltos por recepción, aunque no hacen nada y son agradables, ya depende de tu alergia y sobre todo si eres mujer embarazada.

Don’t stay here!!!

After many very positive experiences during our travels in China, Hesu Hotel was unfortunately by far the worst stay we had.

The biggest issue was the condition of the rooms. Every room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, like the home of a chain smoker, and unfortunately nothing really helped — not even the air purifiers placed in each room. The rooms themselves are very dated, and the bathrooms were not properly cleaned, with visible fungus/mold in some areas.

The walls are also extremely thin, and we could clearly hear loud neighbors throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep and rest properly.

Another disappointment was the food. This was actually the only place in China where we had a genuinely bad food experience. We would definitely recommend skipping the breakfast.

The staff tried to help when possible, but nobody spoke English, which made communication difficult compared to most of the other hotels we stayed in during our trip.

The location was also not ideal, as it is quite far from the old town and many attractions. In hindsight, we found that there are much better accommodation options closer to restaurants and sightseeing areas, often for a better price as well.

What made this even more disappointing is that the hotel was surprisingly expensive compared to our first hotel, which had a far better location, English-speaking staff, cleaner and more comfortable rooms, and overall much better value.

Unfortunately, we would not stay here again and would recommend other travelers look at alternative options in the area.
