Good views, great service, great value!
Pros:

The private pool, the see-through floor of the balcony, Isla villa 5 faces a field and the view was great to wake up to.

Pros:

Super freundliches Personal, schöne Aussicht aus der Wasservilla, Frühstück war ein Floating Breakfast im Pool welches man sich am Vortag aussuchen konnte. Essen war sehr gut, wir haben trotz schlechter Kritik, uns Essen in die Villa liefern lassen und waren positiv überrascht

Cons:

Essens-oder Getränkebestellungen dauerten sehr lange (über 1 Stunde auf‘s Essen gewartet obwohl kaum/keine Gäste im Hotel waren), der Aussenbereich der Wasservilla könnte besser gepflegt sein genau wie das Badezimmer (viel Kalk, Kanalgeruch)

Loved how the villa was right by the sea and its so calm and quiet. Staffs were excellent though, very pleasant and helpful despite calling them multiple times to clean the room or pool. Breakfast was excellent as well. They even serve it in our room on our last day.

Cons:

I feel like the villa has such a great potential, but i was a bit dissapointed by the cleanliness of it, especially the bathroom. The moment we entered, it felt like the room has been used frequently without proper cleaning as floors were sticky, grime up on the bathroom walls and a distinct unpleasant smell. Soap dispensers were not topped up as well. Had to call the staff a few times to clean the bathroom.

transport to the property is not provided. Costs 450,000 one way from Tanjung Pinang terminal. Only has 1 restaurant to serve food. Ought to pay for room service. Grab food not available as it is far away from everything. Not very responsive when texting them on booking.com

Pros:

The room is spacious and comfortable. Clean and wifi worked well. The rooftop area and balcony opening up to the pool and sea were lovely. Unique room types. Friendly staff, room service very fast.

Cons:

A lot of insects in the pool, I did not feel comfortable getting in. And even though all doors were closed, lots of flies at night. Like a lot. Food was not that amazing, could be better. Breakfast spread was good, but taste could have been better.

I loved that it was spacious, the design, how close to the sea it was, the bathroom was gorgeous!

Cons:

Understand that it’s hard to control bugs on the outdoor pool, maybe leave a net or have the pool cleaned once a day if there are guests would be great!

A disappointment.
Cons:

It was terribly run down. The water for the bathtub was brackish and yellow, the shower water had a foul smell. The roof terrace was not well maintained. There are no facilities almost and the restaurant also was not good. I ended up moving out a day earlier and gave up my reservation even though I couldn’t refund.

Pros:

Für alle die Ruhe suchen und nicht im Tourismus-Trubel wohnen möchten. Hier kann man entspannen u. runterkommen, wunderbar essen, aber auch tolle Ausflüge buchen, um das wirkliche Bintan kennenzulernen. Man trifft auf ein herzliches und außerordentlich tolles Team, mit so viel Wärme und Gastfreundlichkeit.

The view and amenities - we love the walkin bathroom and the toilet. 👍👍👍

Cons:

We were not able to use the pool as it was dirty at the bottom. We asked to be cleaned up but they just removed the floating insects and scrubbed the floor but the dirt remained at the bottom.

The towels have stains. The rubber seal of the glass in the bath tub came off and left hanging.

First got to know about this resort via Lemon8 app where some posts described the stay as similar to being in Maldives.

Truly enjoyed our stay here, we booked the Villa Aqua for 2 nights. It was truly as reviewed! The view was spectacular, overlooking the sea, and it was a very relaxing stay for us. The photos are unedited.

The villa was huge and comfortable, especially the bathroom was particularly big. Bed was comfortable too. Overall, cleanliness including the bedsheets was on point as well! Just 1 small suggested improvement was the cleanliness of the towels.

Service was great! The staff were polite and helpful, especially this front desk staff named Rey! He went out of his way on my queries, and I am grateful.

Although this place is rather far away from the ferry terminal (1 hour drive), it was worth it. It was also the reason this stay felt like a tranquil paradise, and truly a getaway. We did hire a driver to bring us for activities on some days, so travelling around wasn't an issue. For the meals we had at the resort, the food was reasonably priced and pretty delicious as well.

Overall, highly recommended stay for anyone heading to Bintan!

Nothing much, aside from the bath towels.

Erg aardig personeel. Heerlijk om tot rust te komen.
Pros:

Het personeel was geweldig. Op een avond werd er op de deur geklopt en stond er iemand van het personeel met gratis ijs voor de deur. Omdat ik zo snel mogelijk weg wou van het afschuwelijke Mutiara "resort" (zie mijn review daar) had ik me een week vergist in de boeking data, waardoor eerst mijn boeking niet gevonden kon worden. Gelukkig kon dat omgeboekt worden. We kregen de transfer op de terugreis geheel gratis als attentie van het hotel. De receptie is altijd bereikbaar en zeer behulpzaam met het boeken van excursies. De huisjes zijn erg ruim, met 2 verdiepingen. Er is een dorpje bij het resort op 1km afstand (is goed te lopen maar als je wat praat met de dorpelingen willen ze je ook wel brengen, achterop de brommer).

Cons:

Het eten in het restaurant was niet mijn smaak. Het water in het prive zwembadje was niet helder. Daar hebben we echter geen punt van gemaakt, want het resort heeft een prachtig zwembad met uitzicht op de zee. Het water op de kamers werd in flessen geleverd, maar die waren niet verzegeld. We hebben dan ook water gehaald in de warung dicht bij het hotel, dat kost zowat niets.
