Nebola som ubytovaná v zaplatenej izbe ani napriek telefonickému upozorneniu. Výhľad do parku nahradil dvor s neporiadkom a smetnými košmi. V izbe štvoro dverí - dvojo nevhodne desivých. Prvá noc bola pre mňa doslova mrazivá hrôza. V celom dome chýbali zrozumiteľné jednoduché pokyny ako zapnúť kúrenie. Vykúrené ubytovanie by malo byť samozrejmosťou, zvlášť keď ohlasujeme čas príchodu. Pripojenie k wifi by tiež nemal byť problém uviesť pre všetky priestory v tej kuchyni, keď už nie sú pokyny v izbe.
Senzorové svetlo v kuchyni a v sprche je naozaj nebezpečné.
Tajomnú zásuvku s príborom beriem ako zážitkovú skúšku dôvtipu. Bez pomoci som nezvládla. Som rada, že som nebola sama.
Jeden prasknutý hrnček na čaj pre celý dom je naozaj málo.

The room lights where on a sensor and kept going off , the light in the bathroom was a joke as you could not shower as the lights went off as the sensor was over the sink , if I slipped i would have a good claim.
The heating was a joke as you had to go to the kitchen to put the heating on and was on a timer, the room was cold as it never got warm . The kitchen had all the basics but had no knives or fork or spoons . So had to eat out .
The reason I book this place was due to the advert that said there was everything there . No free WiFi no tv on the wall that was on the floor . Plaster book in hall way and stair light to the kitchen cleverer work .
Also there was a very strong small off weed being smoked , also a hole in the ceiling in the room .
I will not be returning again, not good for the money
If i was staying longer I would have asked for a refund and moved elsewhere to stay

The fact there was no heating all week the room was cold. No smoke alarm in the bedroom which is a health and safety concern. Renovating on the property for the first 2 days of my stay which I was not told about when booking the property and more health and safety concerns with boards being left in the hall next to my room and boxes piling by the front entrance. Information of the property not accurate and misleading as it is a multiple occupancy not air b&b, no mountain views.

The property description, very confusingly, said "each room includes private bathroom, kitchenette, washing machine and TV. Additional amenities include a dining area, work desk and soundproofing." Our room did have private bathroom and work desk. The kitchen facilities (cooker, fridges, food cupboards, washing machines etc) and dining area were communal to be shared with other guests. This is obviously student accommodation - and of a high standard too, but not for us - had we known this we would not have booked this property. On holiday we enjoy cooking and dining in our own private space. Also, there was no TV but that was no problem at all.

Could have benefitted from having shelves in the oven. Air frier was provided instead. If I am nitpicking, having some additional cutlery would have helped as there was just enough for us to eat with little spare to use for food prepping. We just had to keep washing and rinsing as we went. Would have liked a few extra pillows for the beds.

Deeply Disappointed – Unprepared Host on a Very Important Day

We booked this accommodation for a deeply meaningful occasion—our son’s graduation from Bangor University—a once-in-a-lifetime milestone we were thrilled to celebrate as a family. Sadly, what should have been a smooth and welcoming arrival turned into an exhausting and stressful experience, all due to the host’s lack of preparation and consideration.

Check-in was clearly listed as 15:00, yet we were not allowed into the property until 18:00—a three-hour delay with no acceptable explanation or apology. As this was a private accommodation, there was nowhere to wait, no access to a restroom, and no gesture of hospitality offered. We were left outside, tired from travel, with our belongings, trying to stay composed on a day that was meant to be joyful.

This delay disrupted precious moments we could have spent resting, preparing, or simply enjoying our son’s graduation day. When we were finally allowed in, the place was clean, but the host made no effort to acknowledge the inconvenience or the significance of what had been lost.

A key part of hosting—especially for guests traveling for major life events—is reliability and respect. Sadly, both were missing here. I hope the host takes this feedback seriously and does not repeat this kind of carelessness with future guests.

Some dust in corners on the floor, bathroom mats not very clean
Hot water management and toilet flushing not functioning very well

Nothing it was perfect stay. No issues and the host was very responsive
