Magical.
Pros:

This hotel in the middle of Carcassonne can’t be beaten for luxury and location. A truly five star experience. The beautiful garden with eating area and the pool, means you can combine exploring Carcassonne with relaxation. A real gem of a hotel.

Camere vetuste con arredi e moquette che necessitano di un’intervento di ristrutturazione.
L’acqua del lavandino e della doccia scendevano veramente troppo lentamente.

Great hotel in amazing location.
Pros:

Lovely old building in the most amazing location within the city walls of Carcassonne. The staff were friendly and efficient, especially those in the garden bar. We loved the pool area, which is a little oasis away from the many tourists in the city.

Cons:

Our room was very comfortable but just needed a little attention to detail. The curtains had come off the rail in places and the towel rail was broken.

Fabulous hotel in every way
Pros:

Everything. Can’t fault it , beautiful and stunning , pool are and gardens amazing. Staff attentive and caring The food outstanding

Cons:

Just the odd little thing like the pool vacuum still in the pool at 11am, the price and size (very small) of the Aperol spritz and housekeeping wanting us to leave the room 10 mins early. Only little things I know but can make the difference

Historisches Hotel in einzigartiger Lage

Einzigartige Lage, beeindruckendes Gebäude und sehr bequeme Betten.

Cons:

Bis auf den Empfang am Parkplatz, der nett und organisiert war, waren wir vom Service sehr enttäuscht. Wir waren früh da, mussten dann aber über die garantierte Zeit von 16.00 auf unser Zimmer warten. So haben wir uns nicht willkommen gefühlt.
Die Beschilderung im Hotel ist unzureichend.

Pros:

The location was gorgeous.

Cons:

It’s incredibly dated and not in a good way. We ate in the restaurant, the food was delicious but the service was intrusive and actually irritating. My son was wearing headphones and the waiter actually removed them? It felt like the waiter was almost on stage acting and we should have been his adoring audience. It’s the most bizarre restaurant experience I’ve had.
