A very spacious room with a great view of the Matterhorn. Short walk into the village. The pool complex was impressive. Facilities were great. Breakfast was excellant.
The location was superb with local amenities near by, train station was a 10 minute walk away which was good, the view from our room was awesome with the Tip of Matterhorn in sight. Overall a good spot
Very poor breakfast, very basic, to what we paid for the accommodation which included breakfast, not much of a variety and pretty much the same everyday. Can’t complain though when there’s food on the table
When I checked in on June 20, a female receptionist told me that she had upgraded my room to an apartment. I also paid the local tax at check-in.
At that time, I asked her where the spa was, and she told me that I would have to pay an extra CHF 20 per person per day to use it.
After that, I went out for a while. When I came back, I was taking a shower at around 9:30 p.m. when someone suddenly rang my doorbell and told me that I had to change rooms because the receptionist had given me the wrong room. They also said they would upgrade my room.
However, after checking, I realized that I was simply being moved back to the room type I had originally booked, which already included breakfast and spa access.
The evening receptionist was only taking over the shift, but he told me that this was not the first time the female receptionist from earlier had made a mistake. He also asked me to pay the local tax again, even though I had already paid it when I checked in that afternoon.
The whole handover was completely disorganized, and they even tried to charge the guest again without checking properly.
This is a dishonest hotel. I sincerely advise everyone not to stay here.

We had a truly beautiful stay at the Alpenhotel Resort & Spa. The hospitality was exceptional—everyone made us feel so welcome. The location is fantastic, the breakfast was absolutely delicious every morning, and the views of the Matterhorn are simply stunning. Thank you for everything; we highly recommend this wonderful hotel!

No iron in the room, I believe I was overcharged for my bar tab, they sent me a link to pay without any description of charges.
Simply great, exactly what i needed after a bad hotel experience in another Swiss city. Pools, sauna, a good room with a bath, good breakfast.
