The room is inside a private house and not isolated. Shower and toilet shared with another room. It wasn't clear from the advertisement and that's a shame. No privacy.
It was a pristine building within viewing of the water. The bed was super comfortable and the owner/manager was very friendly. The outdoor balcony is amazing with good seating. The building inside and out is immaculate.
The room wasn’t described as having a shared bathroom. The room also wasn’t described as being on a second floor that is fully open to the owner’s first floor, so privacy was limited. You had to go into the owner’s space through his front door to get access to the room.
The location and views of the lake were wonderful. The bedroom, family room and outdoor deck were modern, beautiful and comfortable. The coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave for guest use was a great convenience. Loved having our morning coffee on the deck with the lake view. Host was quick to respond to any questions.
The only drawback to the property was the shared bathroom with the other private bedroom if it is also rented. It wasn’t very clear in the description. Part of the family area was open to the hosts’ living area. But they made every effort to respect our privacy and we didn’t even know they were there.

The hosts live on the property, which may not be suitable for guests seeking privacy. Had this been clearly stated in the listing description, we would have reconsidered our booking. While Robert was courteous and responsive throughout our stay, our experience with the female host was less positive, as we found her demeanor to be unfriendly and not particularly welcoming. Additionally, the bathroom is shared when there are guests staying in the room next door.
I was completely unable to stay at Roberts. The owner responded that the stairs would be too difficult for someone using a walker. He requested I cancel via booking.com and also phoned me to request that I cancel but your website would not allow that. He did promise to refund my money as soon as possible and I trust booking.com will comply with that request. Please adjust your website to allow us to "query" the property PRIOR to confirming and paying for a reservation. Thank you.

For us, it was perfect. I wouldn’t recommend it for people who like to make noise or play games when they are staying overnight. That would have felt disruptive in this space.
Clean, confortable close to the city.
When my husband and I rented it on booking.com we assumed it was an Airbnb, where I’d be just us. It was actually a bedroom. You have to share the bathroom share the kitchen share the dining with the House who lives downstairs and then you have another person that’s a guest also Living there. The beach is across the street. We did not stay and before you book the room make sure you know all the facts because you get absolutely no refund whatsoever. None we lost $182 to go there and we might’ve been in the house for five minutes. It’s nothing like an Airbnb. It’s more of a roommate situation with the host and his girlfriend living downstairs. I think I think Robert needs to make it more clear that you’re renting a bedroom a room in his house and all the other of the kitchen the dining room the bathroom the yard you’re sharing.
We did not like it being a bedroom and you have to share everything. The bathroom in the kitchen everything share everything with the host and his girlfriend and whoever is in room one and you’re in room two we’re all sharing everything so you have zero privacy there is no privacy. I find the app that was on that Robert has is very misleading. I would never stay there you’re staying in a person’s house with them downstairs and then it’s another stranger upstairs.
