Lovely stay in Istanbul
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful. Really appreciated their advise for travelling around Istanbul made everything very easy.

Cons:

If I'm being picky there could have been better signage between the hotel's bars and restaurants as it's old and new parts were difficult to navigate & key card didn't open all the doors(but the dtaff were helpful)

1. die zentrale Lage - Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichbar und auch der Flughafen, 2. grundsätzlich freundliche Mitarbeiter, 3. Frühstück war vielfältig

Cons:

1. völlig überteuert, versprochener Standard (4 Sterne und Zimmerkategorie Executive Room wird nicht erfüllt), abgewohnte Möbel, Einrichtungen wie Dusche/Toilettenspülung funktionieren, aber nicht richtig … bei Pech mit der Zimmerzuteilung Blick auf wirklich nicht schönes Dach und Wand).

Definitely not a 5-star hotel!!!
Pros:

The hotel is situated in the city center, walking distance to the port a cultural sites. Metro/subway entrance was exactly next to the hotel, and a lot of good local restaurants nearby.

Cons:

We were very disappointed in the overall experience of this so called 5-star hotel. I supposed the only upside to this accommodation is the hotel personnel, which were almost every time smiling and willing to help. However, the hotel dependencies are outdated and in urgent needed for an entire refurbish. The room, although clean, needed an upgrade in terms of furniture, utilities and windows change. Although the room had double glazed windows, these were really old, missing some rubber seals. It did not matter if you left the window open or closed, the street noise was always present. For the entire stay, we were woken up every night at 4 o’clock to the early morning call to prayer from the nearby mosque. By the way, the hotel being in the old city center has a mosque on each side, therefore it’s impossible to escape the call to prayer. Having this every night at 4 o’clock, it could ruin your stay as we were almost every day tired due to the noise in the room because of the poorly soundproof windows. Also, the bathroom into our room needed an immediate refurbish. There was no ventilator in the shower or in the bathroom at all, thus with every shower the entire bathroom and room was filling up with moist and vapors. Furthermore, the shower wall and sealing had a lot of molds, making it unsanitary and seemed uncleaned. No toilet brush, which meant that you needed to leave the toilet uncleaned every time. The bathroom sink was not in the bathroom, but in the actual room, which we did not care that much, but due to the improper drainage and the lack of sink faucet aerator (being damaged or clogged), a lot of water was ending up on you or the floor and on the sink counter. For the entire stay, we needed to leave with water in the actual room. Yes, the room was cleaned daily, but we returned from our city walkthroughs at the evenings, and we needed to withstand this every single day. The breakfast was ok, but not for a 5-star hotel. A great location and value place just need a little updates to make the room more comfortable.
Pros:

Great central and quiet location, executive room is very large with fantastic views over the Bosphorus, refreshing pool and sauna, breakfast variety, roof top restaurant with views, quaint Irish bar, nice staff.

Cons:

Only the air conditioning in the room did not cool sufficiently as is set by the hotel. I understand they are trying to be efficient, but at 24C is too warm in summer. They reset it to 22C but it would only reach that overnight so always felt a bit uncomfortable. The shower is the old style step into the bath and the water selection and plugs were not fully functional. Lighting over the mirror was dim.

Le spa est payant, l’hôtel est placé sur une colline en hauteur où les taxis ne peuvent pas déposer c’est un enfer. Personnel désagréable qui s’en fout de tout. Emplacement vraiment nul c’est le bordel. Séjour horrible.

Confusing branding and significant price discrepancies

I booked a stay at Levni Hotel & Spa through Booking.com, only to discover later that the property operates under split branding, confusing potential guests between "Levni Hotel & Spa" and "Levni Hotel Handwritten." The rates listed on the Accor app were significantly higher than those on Booking.com for what appears to be the same property. As a gold member I reached out to Accor to resolve this price difference, but they were unable to assist. Potential guests should be aware that these two bookings may not offer the same value or loyalty benefits, and the price discrepancy between platforms is frustrating

Other things to consider is that the hotel charges extra to use their amenities. Sauna and Hamam cost an extra 12EUR per person to use. Pool you should have a pool cap. Quality of room is lower if you book on bookings.com
