het niet werkende sanitair.
douche te heet en was niet in te stellen(1 kraan niet mengbaar) stortbak wc deed het niet. moest handmatig de stortbak vullen en de vlotter omhoog trekken om door te trekken.

O proprietário (eu echo) foi extremamente mal-educado. Nem sequer disse “olá” e limitou-se a dizer que não podíamos estacionar ali porque não somos residentes. Não nos explicou nada sobre o check-in, que tivemos de fazer online por nós próprios. Também não deu qualquer informação sobre o check-out. Além disso, o chuveiro estava avariado.

I enjoyed my stay at A Casa do Visconde. The property is located in the heart of Mértola and offers picturesque views of the surrounding area. The room was spacious, bright, and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and I was able to have a good night’s sleep. The surroundings were quiet, which made the stay very relaxing.

The owner was welcoming and helpful.

Overall, it was a great stay at Casa do Visconde.

Cons:

One thing I missed, however, was access to the kitchen. Based on the photos, I expected it to be available, but it wasn’t. This made it a bit tricky to prepare breakfast, as there were no bowls available for the food I had brought with me. There was a coffee machine, which was a nice touch.

Jag är tyvärr mycket missnöjd med min vistelse. Rummen hade en stark och obehaglig lukt av fukt, och sängkläderna kändes dessutom fuktiga. Ventilationen var bristfällig, vilket gjorde inomhusmiljön ännu sämre.

När vi tog upp detta med ansvarig personal blev bemötandet otrevligt och avvisande. Vi fick ett kort svar i stil med att vi “bara skulle sova där en natt”, vilket inte kändes särskilt professionellt eller serviceinriktat.

En annan nackdel var parkeringen och tillgängligheten. Det är cirka 700 meter att gå till boendet, över ojämn kullersten och branta backar. Dessutom rastas hundar längs vägen, vilket gjorde att man behövde vara uppmärksam var man gick.

Sammanfattningsvis är detta inget ställe jag kommer att besöka igen, och jag kan tyvärr inte rekommendera det.
