Categories

Cleanliness
9
Numerous comments praising excellent cleanliness, spotless rooms and well-maintained facilities; one severe exception reported (bed bugs on one bed) which lowers the score slightly.
Service
10
Repeated strong praise for front desk and staff (friendly, helpful, recognized guests by name, named staff like Isobel), security presence and attentive hospitality — consistently excellent service.
Location
9.5
Generally very positive: safe, easy to find, about 10 minutes from the beach and well-located for non-beach activities; a few guests noted it is away from the beach (advantage or drawback depending on preference).
Room Quality
8.5
Rooms described as clean, spacious and comfortable overall, but several issues lower this score: air conditioner not cooling well for one guest, noise/transmission between rooms (not soundproof), and the reported bed-bug incident.
Amenities
10
Many positives: nicely decorated facilities, pool area, well-lit and secure property; breakfast area well stocked and facilities smelled fresh. Some parking limitations were noted but overall amenities were highly praised.
Value for Money
9.5
Not often explicitly mentioned; overall sentiment implies strong value given satisfaction and willingness to return — assigned target overall rating where not directly discussed.
Food and Beverage
9.5
Breakfast repeatedly praised (yummy cinnamon rolls, great and constantly restocked), with a minor note about coffee machine/coffee pod quality from one guest.
Overall Experience
10
Overwhelmingly positive overall sentiment: many guests called their stays delightful, would return and recommend, citing staff, cleanliness and comfort as highlights.

Great Place to stay
Pros:

Breakfast has yummy cinnamon rolls. This is a newer hotel in a good location for Fort Walton. It is away from beach which is great if you are doing non-Beach activities so you don’t get caught up in traffic
