Great for the price..
Pros:

The shower rooms were great as was the breakfast. The Eco pods are what they are, the beds were a bit uncomfortable but for the price I didn't expect much.

Cons:

A fly screen wouldn't go amiss it was boiling but you couldn't really leave the door open as the field full of creatures would be sharing the room with you!

Overall we enjoyed our "pod" experience but would make sure we booked an en-suite one next time.
Pros:

The location was lovely, right at the side of the golf course, so could watch the golfers from the terrace. The breakfast provided in the golf clubhouse was excellent in relation to the price we paid for an overnight stay. (The location was ideal for an overnight stop from Cheshire to Cornwall to break up the journey).

Cons:

We enjoyed our "introduction" to staying in a "pod" but had been under the impression that the pod we had booked would have an en-suite. It was not made clear on Booking.com's website that this was not the case so do not know whether it is their fault but nevertheless Rodway Hall need to liaise with them to make it clearer that we were booking one without en-suite. Plenty of photos of pods with en-suite but none without. As a couple in our late 70s, it was not ideal to have to traipse to the bathroom facilities in the middle of the night. We would not have booked if had realised. The shared facilities provided were however acceptable and clean. Everything else was fine.

Cons:

Bed was 2 singles pushed together not secured so they split.
Pod needed cleaning, very dusty, hair.
Shared facilities left a lot to be desired, people walking past too close for my liking at all hours, hadn't been ventilated in the heat so was uncomfortable - needed to leave the fan sitting on a chair though was pointless.
Machinery started about 6am.
Sure it's a lovely place, but not for me

Boiling hot
Cons:

Description said it came with a private bathroom…
It did not. Had to upgrade costing an extra £23 with no discount. Floor was covered in cobwebs under the bed

Passable for a nights stay, wouldn’t recommend.
Pros:

Staff in the clubhouse were lovely, nice location, breakfast was good.

Cons:

Very very noisy from other guests in the pods next door till past midnight could hear every conversation. Bins weren’t emptied in our pod from I assume previous guests, the coffee cups hadn’t been washed still had coffee stains all over both of them. We’re in a heatwave and the radiator was on with the doors shut on our arrival so it was like a sauna.

Invest in the upgrade it is worth the extra few quid!
Pros:

Upgraded as smoke alarm went off spontaneously. The accommodation was very good. Plenty of room, comfy beds and had its own shower room and loo.

We will be back 😀
Pros:

We had a superior pod with a toilet and shower room. The pod was lovely and new , had a lovely wooden smell with comfortable beds, a heater if needed and a tv with multiple channels.
The staff were all so helpful and breakfast was very generous. Full English included if we wanted. We were not playing golf but I have to say the members were very friendly and informative/ chatty . A really safe and lovely environment to be in for two females travelling alone.

Overnight stay in en suite camping pod
Pros:

Pod was brand new with a lovely en suite wet room. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was included.at the club house

Cons:

There was no outside furniture, luckily we took camping chairs but the couple next to us had to sit on the decking! A small fridge would be helpful as there is room for one. Also need to point out in the clubhouse that some breakfast items have a supplement.

Pleasant, lovely setting. Not as described and not for a winter stay
Pros:

Lovely setting on a rolling golf course. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Free parking. Wifi is available close to the clubhouse but doesn't extend to the pods. I had a lovely walk round. This is not a place I would stay in winter.

Cons:

This is not as described. The pods do not have private bathrooms or ensuites. There is access to a toilet and shower block near the clubhouse. As a lone female traveller I would be uncomfortable with this when it's dark, although the shower cubicles are lockable.
Some occupants were playing music quite loudly.
