Très déçue par le petit déjeuner !! Minimaliste et digne d’un petit hôtel . Ne vaut vraiment pas son prix (30€). Si nous avions su nous aurions pris la chambre sans petit déjeuner compris. Le prix du top service est excessif (plus de 20€ le pan bagnat avec des frites / 10€ les M&ms)

Personnel et service absolument pas niveau 5 étoile, manque de classe et de service et de sourire

Despite being billed as a 5 star, to our surprise, the hotel doesn't have a restaurant. Food can be brought over from the adjacent casino, but it's from the buffet, hardly haute cuisine. The breakfast was not very good. With a couple of exceptions the staff were untrained, and though mostly they meant well, there were a few glaring errors. For example the receptionist who tried to help us by identifying local restaurants when we arrived, both of which were closed that night. When we raised our concerns with the manager. Mrs Boyd, she was disingenuous. hostile and unpleasant. She seemed to be unaware that the gym was closed, but she did know that the jacuzzi was not working, neither of which matters were brought to our attention when we booked, or when we arrived. Altogether not a 5 star experience, nor a 4 star, nor a 3 star.

There was no onsite restaurant but they owned the Casino next to it and there was a restaurant their , a signature onsite restaurant is planned for later this year

Un petit rafraîchissement des chambres ne serait pas de trop.

Het enige aandachtspunt vonden we het ontbijt. De prijs is aan de hoge kant in verhouding tot de keuze die wordt aangeboden. Verder was alles naar wens.

For a five star hotel with spa, the reality fell far short of the billing. Our room was poorly maintained: scuffed and scratched walls, a cracked mirror with sharp broken glass exposed, a pendant light hanging loose from the ceiling with a thick layer of dust inside the shade, a shower door that would not close so water ran onto the floor, no bath mat (we used a towel to avoid slipping), mould in the shower, a chipped door frame, an empty tissue dispenser, and a dirty terrace that had not been swept. The spa was worse. The whirlpool cover and fitting were heavily rusted, and there was visible mould in and around the pool area, which for water guests bathe in is a serious hygiene concern. Rust, mould, water-damaged ceilings, and damaged skirting ran throughout the wellness area. We stayed one night; had it been longer we would have checked out early. Not what you expect at five star prices.

Het ontbijt was erg prijzig voor wat het was. Ik heb ook nergens boter gevonden. Voor een ontbijt van 30 euro mag er ook wel een menu zijn waar uit gekozen kan worden. Ik werd ook getaxeerd voor twee personen alhoewel ik duidelijk alleen was. Het hotel weigerde om die fout recht te zetten. Slechte commerciële beslissing.
De afstand tot Lyon is niet ver maar om terug te raken is het een probleem. Er is slechts 1 trein per uur en op zaterdag valt die van 20:15u weg. De trein van 21:15u is de laatste. Vanaf dan zijn er enkel nog 3 bussen. Het is ook niet duidelijk waar je die dan moet nemen. Het hotel zou de service moeten hebben om dit aan de klanten te laten weten.
Er zit ook te veel chloor in het water van het zwembad en het is niet lang genoeg open. Je kan pas na 10u erin wat wil zeggen dat je niet de stad in kan. Het sluit ook al om 20u wat wil zeggen dat je erg vroeg terug moet zijn indien je Lyon bezoekt of zelfs in het dorp gaat eten. Voor 19:30u serveert men immers niets.
