A welcome break
Pros:

Good location, close to the beach and an abundance of places to eat. Plenty of parking and easy to find. The room was mostly clean. A kettle, mugs, tea, biscuits, towels, soap, bedding, a TV, a tower fan, hangers for clothes and plenty of sockets were provided. The staff (receptionists and housekeeping) were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The normal TV channels were available. The bar below the hotel served good, tasty food.

Cons:

Free WiFi was advertised, well there was a strong WiFi signal, but the equipment would not allocate IP addresses. So, effectively, no internet. The staff could not help because the service is not owned by the hotel.
The parking bays were not marked well.
One of the top bunk beds had dirt on it. We didn't report it as we found out near bedtime after reception was closed and we were one bed extra. It was surprising as the rest of the room was clean.
Our room was on the first floor with a section of flat roof outside the window. It seemed to be an area for staff to have a break. So it was surprising to sometimes have people right outside the window. But this was only for a short time in the middle of the morning.

The staff in the restaurant could have been friendlier. The food took a while to arrive and it was empty but not really a big issue for us
