Pros:

Wir hatten das Hotel 2 Tage für eine Zwischenübernachtung zum Besuch Baden-Badens gebucht. Das Hotel hat einen sehr schönen französisch anmutenden Charakter. Die Innenausstattung ist sehr liebevoll gelungen. Es hat Spass gemacht die historische Atmosphäre zu genießen. Sehr nette und freundliche Hotelbetreiber. Reichhaltiges sehr gutes Frühstück, welches im schönen Garten eingenommen werden konnte. Für Fahrräder steht ein eigener Raum zur Verfügung. Nach Baden-Baden und zum nahen Rhein sind wir mit dem Rad gefahren.

Het is een idyllisch plekje met een prachtige binnentuin, mooi ingerichte kamers, superschoon en een heerlijke badkamer. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid met verse (biologische) producten, veelal uit eigen tuin.

Cons:

Er viel niks tegen. Het echtpaar doet er alles aan om je een topverblijf te bezorgen.

A lovely historic hotel and charming, welcoming place. Very much recommended!
Pros:

This charming Schwarzwald hotel with a French twist takes you back to the 18th–19th century. It is housed in one of the area’s historic buildings, formerly a post station and guesthouse for travellers, connected to Iffezheim’s long horse-racing tradition. It is also a convenient base for exploring the region by car.

The historic character is well preserved, with creaking wooden floors and antique furniture, while the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is a nice place to return to after a forest hike or a visit to Baden-Baden, with its Belle Époque architecture and famous spas. We definitely recommend trying the room with the large bathtub.

The breakfast is well prepared and generous, and can be enjoyed in the lovely garden or by the fireplace in the living room.

Ines and Jörg are very welcoming and helpful hosts and contributed a lot to making our stay enjoyable.

Free parking is available, and there is an ATM and supermarket nearby.

Cons:

As this is a historic building, there is no air conditioning, so the rooms can get warm in hot weather, although we found it absolutely bearable.

Erg mooie kamer om zeker weer terug te komen.
Pros:

Het is echt een heel origineel hotel waar veel authentiek is gebleven. De kamers zijn echt heel mooi ingericht met het houtwerk, vloer en badkamer is ook erg praktisch en mooi. Geen airco maar dat was niet nodig en past ook niet in zo'n hotel. Wel beschikken ze over zeer stille ventilatoren. Dus dat werkte prima.

Cons:

Het is prima zo. Niets meer aan toevoegen.

Gastfreundschaft auf höchstem Niveau! Sehr schöne Zimmer und wunderschöner Garten. Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Liebe zum Detail sieht man in jedem Bereich. Sehr empfehlenswert

Cons:

Verkehrslärm kann bei Zimmern zur Strasse das Ausschlafen beeinträchtigen.
