Wundervolle Lage, richtig schöne & ruhige Umgebung am Primrose Hill. Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Hotel. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter*innen.
Zimmer war leider im Erdgeschoss, Ausblick hatten wir somit leider nur gegen die Wand.
Nice location. Quiet area. Next to a park. Walking distance to Camden. Free wine on Friday afternoon, free breakfast.
No safe in the room.
Very very few outlets.
Fan is loud.
No hangers for the towel.
The bed in room 16 is making a lot of noise.
Focus too much on the interior design and then the real details got ignored.
The hotel is located in Primrose Hill, which we found to be such a lovely and beautiful neighborhood, very residential but also has a few restaurants. It is indeed far from the main tourist attractions if you are considering walking most of the time, but for us it was fine, and we liked being away from the crowds.
The room was bigger than expected, and the decor was beautiful! The common areas were also really lovely, and having breakfast in the patio every morning was super nice.
It was really nice to have a free laundry at our disposal.
Breakfast had only a few options, but it attended us very well. Everything was super fresh.
Staff was super friendly and let us stay in the common area of the Westbourne hotel before our flight, which was incredible since we really wanted to have a shower before heading home.
We did visit during the heatwave and there was no air conditioning in the room. We also did not feel safe leaving the window open, since our room was in the lower floor. Thus, we didn't have much air flowing through the room, which bothered us a little bit.
Bathroom could be cleaner.
A little bit noisy since we were facing the street.
These were just little things that bothered us, but we really loved staying here and would come back!
In Camden which is a quiet neighborhood, it was nice to have access to the garden.
This hotel was not a good value, it was expensive for what they presented with a very small bed for 2 people and shabby common spaces. The room was tiny with no space for luggage, I don’t like opening my suitcase on the floor. Also a lot of stairs even to aces the lift. Overall a disappointment, I thought it would be nicer!
Location is great
The room was absolutely tiny and the mezzanine was literally just a bed. The person on the wall side is trapped there unless the other person gets out. Not great for an older couple.
Incredibly stuffy also in the heat as the fan did little to cool the room down. One of the worst sleeps.
Breakfast was included in our rate but started at 8am so too late as needed to go to work.
Overall very poor value for the price.
Great surroundings: Regent's parc & Primrose hill
Lovely interior, well designed and the room had a bit of a balcony. Lovely surrounding area.
The bathroom didn't lock, one of the bedside plugs was broke (the plug wouldn't physically go in), only one key card was supplied and the room was like a furnace (during a heatwave to be fair) but the only bit of "air conditioning was given was a cheap fan which mitigated nothing.
Difficult to say
Would not recommend this hotel.
We arrived during a record-breaking heatwave weekend in London and were disappointed to discover that the hotel rooms do not have air conditioning. We had booked the mezzanine studio, meaning the bed was on the upper level where the heat was unbearable throughout the night. As a result, we both had an extremely uncomfortable and broken night’s sleep.
The hotel had provided two fans: one large fan and one very small one. There was a lack of plug sockets on the upper level and from the ones that were there, the cable for the large fan wouldn’t stretch, making it impossible to use where it was actually needed. The smaller fan was far too weak to cool the space and my partner and I had to share it throughout the night. It became so awfully hot that my partner ended up soaking a towel under the sink and laying it over himself just to try and cool down enough to sleep.
The following morning, we politely messaged reception to ask if it would be possible to move to a different room for our second and final night. They replied saying they would look into the options. However, hours later they told us the hotel was fully booked and no alternative rooms were available, despite the fact I had checked online and could still book a room for that evening. Instead, they offered us an extension lead so we could use the larger fan upstairs, which we agreed to.
When we returned to our room that evening, we were shocked to find they had simply run the extension lead all the way up the staircase and left it trailing across the steps (photos attached). We honestly couldn’t believe what we were seeing. This created a serious trip hazard, particularly during the night when one of us might need to use the toilet. It would have been very easy to trip over the cable, pulling both ourselves and the fan down the stairs. Not only was this an unacceptable solution, but nobody had even messaged us beforehand to explain what they had done.
Great breakfast, but my wife would have preferred a different bread from sourdough.
Had we stayed there a bit longer the breakfast might have felt a bit too much the same , but it was excellent.
Cold drinks and ice lollies were great
Garden and yoga studio were lovely
Transport links really good.
The main thing for me was that it was really relaxed and unlike some London hotels you didn't feel like you should behave a certain way.
Staff were excellent.
It felt a bit like staying at a friend's house.
Can't think of anything
- Tolle Lage in Camden
Not our first time in London, this city has become an escape for a week every year.
Amazing location near Primrose Hill, Camden and Regents Park. Easy access to public transport ( and I went to 2 concerts on Wembley, so transport was very important)
The property was very clean and tidy, the staff were really nice and helpful. The studio was very well equipped.
Loved the fruit and the mint water in the entry hallway.
Breakfast was nice and healthy, the tables in the garden were so nice in the morning. And not to forget the big black gorgeous cat 🥰
We’ve had a wonderful stay, even during the heatwave.
Thank you!! We’ll definitely be coming back
P.S: Absolutely loved the little radio in the room !! We didn’t even turn the TV on😁
