Wish we skipped Tulum and come straight here .
Pros:

Very tasteful , great breakfast . Short walk to beach and to town .

Cons:

Only comment I can make is the toilet is basically in your bedroom , only separated by a string curtain . Being with my son , we were not bothered , but I imagine a young couple or old couple .. might find the lack of privacy in that area … a little challenging ..

Pros:

El personal operativo del hotel muy amable, en el bar y para los desayunos sin queja alguna. La decoración y limpieza de la habitación en excelentes condiciones.

Cons:

La comunicación con la gente que gestiona las reservas un tanto áspera en algún momento, la regadera 🚿 sin presión ninguno de los días, al parecer es un problema que no se ha resuelto.

Perfekt & wunderschön! So viel Liebe zum Detail, das Zimmer war super schön, groß und sauber, es gab alles was man brauchte. Das Hotel ist nah am Strand gelegen und zu Fuß sind einige sehr gute Restaurants erreichbar - es gibt außerdem einige tolle Empfehlungen vom Hotel. Der Pool ist sehr sauber und lädt zum entspannen und abkühlen ein. Das Frühstück ist absolut fabelhaft, das ganze Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit und von 1-7pm gibt es eine Bar mit den besten Margaritas!!! Und leckerem Essen/Snacks. Absolute Empfehlung, wir würden definitiv wieder hier übernachten, falls wir wieder nach El Cuyo kommen.

Pros:

We stayed in the large suite which was an amazing, enormous room with stunning sea views. The place had all the amenities with great cocktails and food. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the boutique style of the hotel meant it never felt packed.
We would highly recommend if you are looking for an oasis of calm close to the beach in a place with great design!!

Cons:

Nothing, everything was great. Water pressure in the shower is slightly low, but it is expected given that El Cuyo is fairly remote!

Pros:

L'hôtel est superbe, la piscine, la salle de petit-déjeuner, tout est pensé avec goût. C'est un petit établissement propice à la tranquillité et au repos. La chambre que nous avions choisie faisait 70m2, était magnifique et propre. Le personnel était très sympathique malgré la barrière de la langue (il ne parle pas l'anglais). Heureusement, nous avons pu communiquer grâce à nos applis de traduction.

Le WiFi fonctionne très bien dans ce petit village où la connexion ne passe pas tjs.

Le petit-déjeuner était très bon et se composait de yogourt, granola, bol de fruits, pain, beurre, confiture et, à choix, des œufs (brouillés, omelette, au plat) ou des pancakes.

Par WhatsApp, vous pouvez joindre l'établissement et ils vous répondent rapidement et vous envoient des recommandations de restaurants, un sacré plus !

La literie est de bonne qualité et nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans l'ensemble.

Cons:

Bémols : Il n'y a pas eu de check-in à notre arrivée, un des employés nous a tendu son téléphone et la propriétaire nous a transmis les informations utiles par ce biais en nous informant que la personne de l'accueil avait dû s'absenter. Cela ne pose pas un souci en soi mais nous aurions apprécié que qqun prenne le temps de nous recevoir le jour suivant et éventuellement nous offrir un welcome drink. Nous sommes restés 5 nuits et n'avons jamais vu qqun à l'accueil.

Pensant que le petit-déjeuner débutait à 7h00, nous nous sommes rendus un matin à 7h20 et avons pris place à une des tables déjà dressée. Le personnel nous a mentionné qu'il débutait à 7h30 et nous pensions que nous pouvions attendre assis. Nous avons reçu un message à 7h24 nous rappelant l'heure du petit-déjeuner et demandant de laisser le personnel finir le nettoyage... Un peu limite de rappeler à l'ordre quand personne n'a pris de temps pour nous, surtout que nous avions réservé la plus belle des chambres durant 5 nuits.

Un deuxième message nous a été envoyé car nous avons demandé 2x le changement de linges, je pense que chacun est libre de demander de nouveaux linges s'il le souhaite.

Enfin, à notre arrivée, le coffre-fort était fermé et nous avons demandé si qqun pouvait l'ouvrir car nous voulions l'utiliser. On nous a répondu qu'on pouvait nous donner les clés sans souci sauf que, comme personne n'était l'accueil, on n'a pas pu les demander.

On ne peut demander aux clients d'être irréprochables si on ne l'est pas soi-même.

No me gustó nada. Habitación oscura, agua de la ducha sin presión. Nadie en recepción.

Cons:

Tuvimos un percance en la carretera y cuando llegamos a las siete de la tarde la recepción estaba cerrada, no pudimos comunicarlo al hotel porque no teníamos internet. Llamamos al teléfono de contacto y saltaba el contestador. Nos quedamos tirados en la calle. Tuvimos que rentar una habitación en una casa. Todos los hoteles estaban ocupados. No solo eso sino que nos anularon la reserva de dos noches con desayuno y tuve que pagar de nuevo la habitación que me habían anulado.

No me gusto el café, :( estaba muy simple, no sabía a café.

Another amazing stay at Nikau
Pros:

This was our second stay at Nikau and was just as excellent as the prior stay. Breakfast is cooked to order and plentiful. Rooms are large, airy, and well decorated. Staff are attentive. This is a must-stay hotel in El Cuyo

Schöner Erholungsort!
Pros:

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön. Es verfügte über ein großes Bett und eine gemütliche Terrasse - sehr tolles interior design! Alles war fußläufig zu erreichen; sehr nah am Meer. Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker!
