Großzügige Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick in guter Lage
Pros:

Sehr geräumiges Zimmer mit extragroßem und sehr komfortablem Bett! Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und die Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer wurde gut genutzt. Sehr schöner Außenpool mit angenehmen Liegen. Toller Ausblick auf den Pico oder Faial, je nach Zimmerlage. Wir konnten schon zu Mittag unser Zimmer beziehen, was sehr angenehm war. Gute Lage für die Erkundung der Insel. Ausreichend Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung.

Cons:

Zu viele Türen im Badezimmer, v.a. weil es ohnehin zu feucht ist. Sehr hellhörige Zimmer aufgrund einer Verbindungstür zum Nachbarzimmer. Das Frühstück war für ein 4 Sterne Hotel etwas enttäuschend (halbreifes Obst, Dosenpfirsiche, mäßige Auswahl etc.). Der Geruch im Zimmer feuchtigkeitsbedingt etwas modrig, aber inseltypisch (es gibt eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer mit Entfeuchtungsfunktion). Wir waren vom Spa Bereich nicht überzeugt: Innenpool zu kalt, Dampfbad während unseres Aufenthalts nicht funktionsfähig, Sauna sehr klein (max. 2 Personen), keine warmen Duschen, lose Bretter bei den Stufen zum Whirlpool.

Pros:

Le cadre est superbe : mont Pico d’un côté, océan et île de Faial de l’autre. Piscine naturelle toute proche et la balade de bord de mer jusqu’au centre est très agréable.
L’établissement est très propre et calme.
Les 2 piscines et le jacuzzi étaient agréables ; le petit déjeuner très bon.

Schönes, grosses, komfortables Zimmer. Tolle Dachterrasse und gutes Frühstück. Grosser Parkplatz direkt neben dem Hotel.

Cons:

Der Empfang war sehr schlecht. Der Parkplatz nicht ausgeschildert. Am Emofangtresen sass ein junger Mann, der uns mit den Worten begrüsste: Identification! Nach Übergabe der Zimmerkarte, die zunächst nicht funktionierte, gab er einige sehr unverständliche Erklärungen ab. Selbst, dass das Frühstück in einem anderen Raum statt fand, als im Restaurant, mussten wir uns selbst zusammen suchen. Da waren wir auf den Azoren bisher viel mehr Freundlichkeit gewohnt!

Top Hotel für Ausflüge und Pausen zwischendurch
Pros:

Tolle große Zimmer, alles modern, hell und bequem. Der Pool ist übersichtlich aber auch modern gestaltet und sauber.

Das Restaurant und die Bar haben eine gute Aussicht.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war ok, aber mit Abstand das schlechteste auf unserer Reise. Das Zimmer und Buffet ist sehr eng. Die Aussicht auf den Pico Vulkan jedoch schön. Kaffee Kapseln muss man kaufen.

Die Mitarbeiter am Empfang und beim Frühstück waren extrem lustlos. Die Reinigungskräfte sehr nett.

Magnifique.

Restaurant ouvert toute la journée.

Cons:

Le service était sympathique. Pourrait être encore plus avenant.

Foi um fim-de-semana extremamente bem passado! Hotel com pequeno almoço variado, quartos muito espaçosos e com kitchenette, piscina com vista incrível e ótimo spa!

Nice rooms but service and offerings poor
Pros:

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The living area was great. The hotel is walkable to the centre of town. We appreciated an upgrade to the sea view. The breakfast was good.

Cons:

The staff were not friendly and we had issues with the general service. The bar would not allow us to have a drink at 10.30 on their balcony as they said they had closed the bar. There are 2 pods of coffee in the rooms, despite staying for 2 nights these were not replenished and they charge for extra pods which is ridiculous. There was also no milk for coffees in the room.

The spa is fine but very small and not enough space for the number of guests so you almost have to queue to use the separate facilities. The outdoor pool is nice but again small and there is no bar service which is a shame. Considering the price the hotel really needs to up their service levels and offerings.
