Pros:

The bedroom was very well equipped and the garden area outside the room was lovely.
Breakfast was very big with an excellent choice for a cooked option.
The location was perfect if you like quiet countryside but a bit of a drive from the coast.

Pros:

War sehr gut, mit eigener kleiner Terasse! Sehr nette Besitzer.
Gutes Essen. Ruhige Lage und auch vom Pub war nichts zu hören.

Cons:

Die schmalsten Betten, nicht wirklich zu empfehlen für XL-Leute.
Toilettentüre konnte nicht wirklich gut verschlossen werden. War etwas unangenehm!

A little gem in a beautiful location - highly recommend
Pros:

We stayed here as a one night stop during our Northumberland cycle tour. It really is in a beautiful location and the accommodation was perfect. Pizzas were delicious as was the breakfast. We (and our bikes) were well looked after.

Great, convenient and dog friendly place to stay
Pros:

The staff and landlady were very welcoming and took great care of us. The inn is well located, the food was tasty and portions generous. A big plus was how dog friendly the Star Inn is. The bathroom situation in the rooms was a bit awkward but even so, we highly recommend this place and would stay again if visiting Northumberland.

Cons:

The bathroom door in the rooms could be a bit bigger...but other than that, it was a lively stay.

My wife and I enjoyed our three day break and loved the national park (which we cruised in our car).
Pros:

Great Location, Modern accomdation, Great wifi and TV, plenty of hot water, street parking was easy and the Public EV charger was only 75 yrds down the street. the food menue was fine but the selection was a bit high-brow..

Cons:

The single beds were not wide enough to be comfortable and the sheets did not fit the bed. Making for a very poor night sleep. The outside stairs up to the accomodation although sturdy with handrails proved stressful when wet and going down felt very unsafe ( I am 81 which did not help) younger folk should not have a problem.
