Location was superb
Breakfast was amazing, perhaps a little too much for one of my age who does not eat too much.
All the staff were very friendly and made one more than welcome
Nothing at all! I could not fault in any way!
In beautiful quiet surroundings. Perfect size for a short stay. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The owners couldn’t be more helpful. They had thought of everything we would need for a comfortable stay with our dog. The food we had for our evening meal at the pub was delicious. The breakfast included with our room rate the following morning was also great.
Nothing.
Food,rooms ,ambiance all very good

Beautiful rooms and lovely staff!

Very clean and comfortable.
Great pub food and amazing breakfast
Our second visit to The Star Inn. Great rooms, lovely decor and have everything you need. Comfy beds. Love the private little gardens enjoyed sitting out in the sun. Had tea in the pub, tasty and reasonably priced. Breakfast is excellent, plenty of choice. All staff super friendly and professional. Highly recommend.
Nothing to dislike - only thing I would have liked is a small fridge in the room to keep bottled water in for the warmer evenings.
A lovely private room and a little sitting area ideal as we had a small dog.
Clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was good even order a sausage for pup.
Although extremely dog friendly it was hard to find somwhere for the pup to do her business.as grassed areas dogs were not allowed on.
Parking is on street.
The service from the staff went above and beyond. Everyone was friendly and willing to accommodate our needs. The food was great too. We’d love to have this as a local! The rooms were comfy without being extravagant but excellent value for money. There was 6 of us sharing the 3 rooms and everyone loved the stay.
We only had a couple of minor niggles and this wouldn’t put us off from rebooking (in fact, I’ve suggested to my husband that we visit with our dog). However, the bathroom door was a sliding one and not quite big enough to offer full privacy - we were friends sharing so it wasn’t the end of the world but probably haven’t heard each others toilet habits so clearly before! One of the rooms had a loudly leaking shower which irritated the occupants but I’m not sure they actually flagged this whilst we were there so I don’t think there was a chance to get it sorted.
Fab, clean and cosy
