Unacceptable Treatment During Check-Out – I Do Not Recommend This Hotel!
Our experience at Cleopatra Luxury Resort left us with a very negative impression, especially because of what happened on the day of check-out.
A staff member named Shrouk asked us to wait while our room was inspected. At first, she spoke to us in Turkish and behaved in a very friendly manner. However, after keeping us waiting, the staff told us that there was a small chip on the edge of the iron and held us responsible. We did not break the iron, and we do not accept being blamed for something we did not do.
Even after repeatedly explaining that our taxi had arrived and that we needed to leave, they continued to keep us waiting. The situation became so stressful that I felt helpless and pressured and ended up crying in front of other guests. No guest should have to experience this kind of treatment on the last day of their holiday.
Eventually, a manager named Alfred came. He asked us not to leave a negative review and had us write and sign a statement saying that we had found the iron in that condition. Our taxi was waiting while we were forced to deal with this stressful situation. The way the issue was handled was extremely unprofessional and upsetting.
I especially advise Turkish guests to be cautious during interactions with Shrouk. Initially, speaking Turkish and acting friendly seemed reassuring, but the subsequent experience left us feeling unfairly treated and pressured. A friendly attitude does not necessarily mean that everything will be handled fairly. Be careful when room damage is alleged, and always make sure you understand exactly what you are being asked to sign.
We did not break the iron and did not make any payment. Any claim of damage should be handled fairly, transparently, and based on evidence. Keeping guests waiting for an unreasonable amount of time and then asking them not to leave a negative review is unacceptable.

had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was extremely clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile.
The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. The location is also perfect for exploring the area. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be returning!❤️
The best part was the Palmetto Restaurant, Figo and Ramon made us feel like we were royalty. If we come back it will be because of Figo and Ramon’s great hospitality.
The property was very well maintained and very clean, allll of the staff was very welcoming and we greatly enjoyed our stay.
There were so many activities in the place that we didn’t feel like we had to leave the resort at all.
We had a lovely stay at Cleopatra Adults Only for our honeymoon. The hotel was beautiful and we really enjoyed our time there.
A special thank you to the lovely girl who welcomed us when we arrived. She was so kind and helpful, and thanks to her we got upgraded to a swim-up room, which made our honeymoon even more special. 🥰
