A Shadow of Its Former Glory – A Disgrace to the Radisson Blu Brand

This hotel seriously damages the reputation of the otherwise decent Radisson Blu brand.

Be very careful when looking at the photos! The hotel looks much more attractive in pictures than it does in reality. The photos are extremely misleading.

The entire property feels outdated, neglected, and worn out. The walls are shabby, the carpets are heavily worn, full of stains, and even have holes in them. Everything looks like a reminder of the hotel’s former glory.

The SPA is a complete disaster. It is dirty, smells unpleasant, and is nowhere near what you would expect from a hotel of this category. Calling it a SPA is almost a joke.

Perhaps it is simply time for this hotel to close temporarily and undergo a complete renovation.

As for the rooms, you eventually accept that the hotel is old. But being old is absolutely no excuse for being dirty! There are numerous hairs from previous guests on the carpets, which clearly suggests that proper vacuum cleaning is not being done. The bathroom floors have visible streaks, and there is dirt on the tiles. Basic cleanliness should never be optional, regardless of a hotel’s age.

The only positive things I can mention are the comfortable bed, decent bedding, and the beautiful view from the window.

Everything else deserves one star at best — and frankly, even zero stars would be more appropriate.

A deeply disappointing experience, especially considering the Radisson Blu name.
