A very nice mountain hotel
Pros:

A very nice mountain hotel which was very new and well furnished with a great restaurant.
the heated towel rail in the bathroom was very useful for drying clothes.

Cons:

Wir hatten den Aufenthalt - Wandermöglichkeiten, Ruhe, Natur - sehr genossen und werden wieder komme
Pros:

Das Frühstück war qualitativ sehr gut. Es wäre jedoch ein grosses Plus, wenn zusätzlich Rührei oder Spiegelei angeboten würde.

Pros:

Das Hotel strahlt in seiner Gesamtheit ein Höchstmaß an Ruhe und Geborgenheit aus. Das Zimmer im dezenten alpinen Stil ist überraschend gross und sehr geräumig. Das Restaurant bietet eine sehr gute regionale Küche und eine erstaunliche Weinkarte: ein herzliches Dankeschön an die hochkompetente Servierdame! Das Frühstück ist umfangreich, auch hier ein herzliches Dankeschön an die aufmerksame und freundliche Dame der "Frühschicht".

מקום מדהים מהטובים שהיו לנו בהרים. ואנו ותיקים באתרים אלובמעברי הרים ובפסגות. ארוחת בקר מספקת, לא עשירה אבל ישיבה מול הנוף בטבע המהמם-שווה הכל. אנו ממליצים מאד על המקום הזה לכמה ימים. נחזור לשם והרבה....

Warm welcome in this lovely, renovated, small hotel. Stunning views, calm and quiet.
Pros:

Fantastic stay at this hotel for one night, whilst walking the Via Alpina. Rather than staying in Altdorf, we hiked to the lower cable car station (which is just off the Via Alpina Route) and took the cable car up for the night. The hotel is right next to the upper cable car station, with lovely views of the mountains. It is a small hotel, recently renovated. We received a very warm welcome and the rooms were small but beautifully presented. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant that night - simple but tasty fare (Swiss traditional food, burgers etc). There was a buffet breakfast in the morning which was small but good.

Wonderful stay!
Pros:

We had had a wonderful stay at the Alphotel Biel-Kinzig. The hotel is renovated, the rooms are very clean with a wonderful view. The beds are comfortable and the showers are great (not always the case when you’re in the Alps!). There are great hiking routes with panoramic views and small restaurants along the way. Truly a hidden gem with very few tourists.

Cons:

Everything was fantastic! Don’t expect gourmet food at the restaurant, the menu is basic but the food is good. The breakfast buffet is also simple. But that is normal in the Alps and belongs to the charm!

Pros:

Wir waren schon das zweite mal da. Wir lieben das Hotel, weil es schön abseits liegt und man trotzdem nichts vermisst! Genau das richtige um mal abzuschalten. Und das Panorama ist einfach traumhaft! Super nettes Personal! Top gepflegt! Hunde sind willkommen :)!
