Convenient and clean for a short stay
Pros:

- Central Location
- Very clean
- Great decor/vibe
- Friendly staff
- Private sink for washing face hands etc despite communal bathroom

Cons:

- A little noisy from pub in night however understandable and lessened when window is closed
- Breakfast selection included no egg/ baked bean or cooked options

Beautifully thought out and designed property. Lots of lovely details and little touches. The room was comfortable and had really good amenities. The breakfast was a delightful surprise - very tasty and well presented.
The pub has a nice atmosphere and vibes, the food was delicious and the seating cozy.

Pros:

The George & Heart is beautifully decorated and welcoming and is situated in the perfect location to discover Margate with close access to the beach, restaurants and shops and Dreamland. The pub/restaurant are both really nice as well we had drinks in the pub and ate in the restaurant and were really impressed with the experience. The staff were also welcoming and friendly.

Cons:

Unfortunately the building is just quite old with thin walls and squeaky doors and this meant it wasn't the most peaceful of experiences. There isn't a huge amount the staff or owners can do about it but worth noting if you are planning a more quiet and relaxing stay.

Pros:

Location - Staff -The pub and the breakfast was really good and fresh for a continental.

Cons:

Not having a toilet in the room which is very important to me and that would be the only reason I would not come back.

Pros:

The place was quirky and really friendly. It was sited in a really good spot, close to everything we wanted to see and do yet quiet at night

Cons:

I dont think i read the amenities properly and the toilet was down the corridor. Saying that, it was no problem once we were there. Such a nice place, I'm glad I didnt notice that as i may not have booked. I am glad i booked.

Lovely stay, check the small print re shared toilets/bathrooms

Great staff, late night opening, honesty bar was amazing and the breakfast croissants were yummy!!

Cons:

As much as it was a great stay, lovely staff and a small but nice bedroom, we were a little bit surprised to discover it was a shared bathroom. It wasn’t made overly clear that it was a shared bathroom/toilet.

Definitely recommend!
Pros:

Perfect accomm for two nights in Margate. Conveniently located to everything, super lush stay in the Hideaway room and relaxing daily breakfast with fresh and delicious pastries. The pub has a really warm and friendly atmosphere.

Cons:

No complaints from us!
