Please note that children aged between 4 and 16 years can only access the spa and pool facilities between 07.00 and 09.00 in the morning and 16.30 to 18.00 in the afternoon. Unfortunately children under the age of 4 years of age are not permitted to use the spa or pool facilities at any time.
There is capacity for extra beds in some rooms, charges may apply.
Pets are only permitted in some rooms on request, please contact the hotel directly prior to arrival for more information. Charges are applicable.
There is a charge of GBP 25.00 per person, per day for guests wishing to use the Elan Spa facilities (treatments not included). This will be valid for use between the stated arrival time of 15:00 and departure time of 11:00. Must be booked in advance and will be subject to availability.

Your room was in the eves and rather pokey. It would have originally been where the servants slept. There were a lot of stairs. That was the one bit of our visit that disappointed

Pool too small to really swim and outdoor jacuzzi too hot to enjoy and no bubbles - spa a little disappointing but enjoyed relaxing in the saunas.
A memorable anniversary break in a truely characterful and luxurious hotel. Our room was a wonderful size, as was the bathroom. Old period features were enhanced with modern and tasteful decor and furnishings. The views through the mullioned windows, across the rolling Cotswold countryside, were magnificent. The spa facilities were excellent and the food eaten at dinner, was of a very high standard. We will certainly be returning, as this wonderful location is only a hours drive from where we live.
The only thing that could have been better were the picturesque grounds surrounding the hotel. As the UK has suffered 5 heat waves this summer, I am sure, under normal circumstances, that the parched grassland would have been even more appealing green as opposed to straw coloured.
This is not a criticism of the hotel, just an observation about 'global warming'.
Restaurant and dinner in particular were excellent. Nice bar, nice gardens, nice breakfast and good gym.
They couldn't deal satisfactorily with the 'twin bed' request. Spa was disappointing, with a small pool.

I had a wonderful stay! The hotel looked so charming. I loved my room, the spa, and the beautiful garden. The surrounding area was lovely, and I really enjoyed going for a hike nearby. A peaceful and relaxing experience — I would definitely stay again!
