Lovely place and would stop again but perhaps in an alternative room.
Pros:

Clean and comfortable. Well appoint room.

Cons:

The noise from the upstairs room was very disturbing. I think a young family were above us and we heard every step and bang which started at 6:30am…

Lovely anniversary break which didn’t disappoint. Would stay again if in the area
Pros:

Lovely building with lots of character and the maze of outside seating areas was great for sitting out in the sun with light refreshments! We stayed in a lovely big room with really comfortable mattress and all amenities. Friendly staff, good food and nice bar area. Would definitely recommend.

Great location, excellent food - comfy bed!
Pros:

Great room, modern bathroom and comfy bed. Pub food was exceptional, we had dinner and it didn’t disappoint.

Cons:

Whilst staff kindly left a fan in our room, the lack of aircon resulted in a very hot loft room - took till 1am for the room to cool. Appreciate heatwaves are few and far between, however the upper floors simply had nowhere for the heat to escape.
Still, would go again - great base for the Cotswolds

Pros:

Beautiful, clean, friendly, and fabulous food. Highly recommend!

Cons:

That I couldn't open my window any further due to health and safety. It was SO hot we really needed more air and we had stayed in places that were higher up with fully opened windows.

Pros:

Absolutely gorgeous pub with lovely, spacious rooms. The bed was very comfy, great amenities and the shower was also great. Really enjoyed the food (breakfast and dinner) and the beer garden was lovely in the sun. We stayed here for a wedding at Ettington Park and it was very convenient (make sure to pre book a taxi). Would stay again just for the pleasure of the place.

It was a very hot weekend and we really appreciated that there was a decent fan in the room.

It was close to Stratford upon Avon

Cons:

The carpet in the room was very marked and part of the wall was crumbling. The throw on the bed was stained. Overall it was clean but these things can be off putting.

Short and sweet!
Pros:

Room was lovely with a fab bathroom.
Dinner and breakfast were very good too.
There was even a large TV to watch World Cup football on!

Cons:

Check in was slow as we had to wait 10 minutes for barman as he was so busy.
They need more staff/a reception area to welcome staying guests in.
