Lovely stay, location, and all staff were excellent giving us the best service
Expensive, but worth it..
Cleanliness, service, and close to the lovely prom
Bed was comfy.
Room wasn't ready for early check in. Not enough tea and coffee in room. Chips were cold evening meal, coffee was cold at breakfast. Apart from sea view nothing else seemed deluxe in room.
Location, decor, staff all excellent
Only criticism was at breakfast and the scrabbled eggs tasted weird but that's it
Was an amazing stay fantastic hotel, food was beautiful room was lovely and couldn't fault the staff they were lovely.
Service and food very good change in menu would be nice
Same menu each night
It was a fabulous hotel, great staff and in a fantastic location
Unfortunately, we were in a room over the car park, which wasn't an issue, but we were by the kitchen extraction fan, which came on a 6am, and was quite loud
Great location, right on the water front within 2 minutes walking distance to the town centre, pier and arcades. Fabulous looking hotel, plenty of rooms and some parking onsite. The rooftop rooms have their own designated space that the staff lower the bollards upon arrival. This was not listed in the booking (we had booked a rooftop room) and we lost £4 for parking as we did not know until checking in.
The rooftop room was fabulous, huge space with a balcony. Huge bed, sofa bed, coffee table and 2 chairs. Tea and coffee facilities, iron and ironing board, mini fridge. Bathroom with bath separate shower, 2 sinks, toilet and lots of space. Bathrobes and slippers. We booked this room as we had our 2 children (6 and 4 years old) with us and we had plenty of space for all of us.
Dining room and breakfast available within the hotel.
This is personal preference and no reflection on the hotel.
The bed in the rooftop room, both my husband and I found it too soft. We both felt like our legs were higher than our bodies and had a restless night. Perhaps it’s due for a new mattress. The duvet. The rooms are air conditioned but there was a huge thick duvet on our bed that was just too warm considering it’s summer. My two children sharing the sofa bed had a small double duvet to share that didn’t really cover the bed that well and it was thin so i couldn’t have the air con on colder.
The rooftop rooms are noisy in bad weather conditions. It was quite windy the night we stayed and found that the wind was making the roof/walls creak so we struggled to get to sleep.
We did not dine in the restaurant for our evening meal. It was quite expensive and the menu did not have what we needed to suit the whole family.
Breakfast was ok. Continental food available and the selection was ok. Pastries, cereals (but only a small choice) yoghurts, jams, honey, fruit, toast facilities (you have to make your own!) juices, water. Buffet style hot food that was served (odd but I suppose it stops people taking too much). The scrambled egg was awful but all the other foods were tasty. Could order more food from the kitchen at a supplement.
Hotel nice staff friendly
We stayed on half board £32 allowance for dinner ,how they work your bill out is a nightmare we had to sort it out ourselves as they overcharged us twice , something so simple became so complicated as they didn't have a clue
Staff were superb. Great location. Excellent breakfast. Rooms comfortable
Minimal parking so had to use a town car park but most properties/hotels in this area are like that
Perfect location, friendly staff, on the reception snd at breakfast, beautifully decoratad breakfast room with stunning palace like cealing features
room was not clean to the standard i would expect at 4 star hotel, mould in the bathroom old outdated skitrings which were screaming for a touch of paint. also we specifically asked for baby cot snd ee only received cot frame, there was no matress, just hard deck wrapped in bedsheets. this is not acceptable we came with 10 weeks old baby and had to use older daughter duvet to make cot workeable for its function. when you are going to the room you expect full bed to sleep on not just a bed frame so why this was so different for little one- i dont know. Strongly disapointed on this point.
Fantastic position, great food and really friendly staff.
We had to quite a bit extra to pay elsewhere as there weren't any spaces available at the hotel.
Staff were excellent
Food great
Location excellent
Break with our teenage grandchildren.Rooms were lovely . Breakfast tasty 😋. We were all happy f
Lovely hotel in fabulous location. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and food was great.
Nothing
The breakfast was ok and the room towels changed every day and the sheets changed in the middle of the week witch was good
the food coming out of that kitchen for lunches and dinners was not nice the veg the meat the chips was rubbish i asked for soup main meal and sweet when the food came they gave me sweet first the second evening i asked for soup and main meal when the food came both meals came together
My one quibble is the lack of electrical sockets in the room. There was just one that was reachable, while another lay behind the TV cabinet, which I had to drag out of place in order to plug my electrical item in. People need to charge multiple gadgets these days, and a modern hotel should be able to accommodate that need. Other than that everything was great!
Location and the staff went the extra mile ! The shower and bathroom in my room was excellent too!
Nothing!
