A stunning hotel, in a brilliant location, with staff who couldn't do enough for you. Brilliant for those with gluten and dairy allergies (breakfast had a separate table of Gluten Free/Dairy free alternatives. Will be back
Absolutely nothing
Der Pool und der Wellnessbereich waren sehr schön. Auch das Haus als solches war schön.
Zunächst hat man uns ein sehr großes Zimmer angeboten, das allerdings einen nicht akzeptablen Blick auf einen Hinterhof mit Mülltonnen bot.
Im Wellnessbereich wären Ablagen und Hacken für Bademäntel bzw. Handtücher von Vorteil.
Der Service beim Abendessen war nicht gut organisiert, auch wenn viel los ist, weil parallel eine große Gesellschaft zu betreuen ist, sollte das Essen an einem Tisch gleinzeitig gebracht werden.

Golf course highly rated, SPA and staff excellent and close to Stratford making it an excellent base for delving into ye olde Englande.
We liked it very much, including the car charger and 3 course dinner - with some combinations that were new to us - e.g. Sea Bass with fennel and chorizo.
Very relaxing and yes, a cocktail on the patio, overlooking the gardens is time very well spent.

I'm nit picking here, room didn't have air con, breakfast didn't have black pudding, and no I didn't miss either.
Luxurious 2-bedroom apartment in a historic hotel. Loved the location in the midst of a golf course. Great value for money and a very comfortable stay.
The WC in the bathroom could have been cleaner.
It is the most beautiful property and the apartment we stayed in surpassed our expectations. It was huge, spacious and had air conditioning downstairs and fans upstairs. It was beautifully quiet and absolutely perfect.

Friendly nothing too much trouble.
No air conditioning in rooms. Hence not getting excellent score
Fabulous looking building with well cared for gardens. The communal areas were as expected with a building of its age with oak panelling and beautiful oak staircase. The high ceilings and big bay windows allowed plenty of light in and the bathrooms had been updated.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, a good selection of pastries, fruit, and cooked foods, cooked well. Serving dishes were continually topped up as required.
The spa/pool area was clean and pleasant. Not very busy during our stay which was great so it was easy to access the saunas and steam rooms as well as room to enjoy a relaxed swim.
We were a group of ladies with each of us booked into our own rooms. There were differences in their spec each having something different from each other, e.g. a fan, several sockets or only one, a full length mirror, etc.
Basically, inconsistent facilities.
