Some inconveniences regarding room maintenance and the room wasn’t ready in time I was moved rooms twice and no discount

Quiet and good value
Pros:

Good location, not far from the walking street but on a road that only allows limited traffic, meaning it was pretty quiet most of the time.

Cons:

Ground floor room is not far from the front door, so it did get a bit noisy.
For some reason we needed to pay a little extra for a room slightly better than the one we booked. Not sure why, maybe they were overbooked?
No one at reception overnight.

The staff were accommodating and helpful. They are really nice to talk with. Specially kim.

Cons:

I booked a room with balcony in this property, the booking was confirmed in whatsapp. However upon checking in the staff mentioned to me that the room is not available due to maintenance. So they transferred me to another gemini hotel in walking street ( which is so loud and noisy till 3am) they should have told me before I checked in that the room is not available, so I can cancel my booking right away and booked another one. They gave me an option if I would like to stay in this property with additional fee which I decline. So I got refunded and move to another hotel.

Very loud but room was very nice
Pros:

The room was amazing and the staff were all very friendly. However we were moved to the hotel right next to the walking street where the sound was unbearable at night, we could hear the live singers until about 2 am

If it wasn’t for the noise I would give this place a 10! But I didn’t expect to be put on a loud busy street when the hotel has “quiet” in there name

I would stay here again but stay in the original hotel not the sister hotel as it was very hard to sleep at night
