Overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay.
Pros:

The setting was beautiful and it was very comfortable

Cons:

We were a party of 7 adults and had dinner in the hotel the first night which turned out to be a small disaster. The food was generally so-so, the white wine when served was not yet chilled, the red wine was actually warm due to heat-wave room temperature and not at cellar (15-16C) temperature and the main course for one of our party was forgotten completely and had to be cooked in a hurry. The staff actually try hard but they seemed inexperienced and there is a lot of room for improvement.

Breakfast buffet area could be improved...food not covered fruit dried out and flys about and particularly in warm weather at present .

Some staff members not helpful and manner abrupt and unprofessional

The location was great; however, exiting onto the road was tricky.
Pros:

The room and service were good. Meals were fine although there weren't many choices for someone with allergies. This was disappointing as we found Ireland, for the most part, quite accommodating.

Cons:

Had we known there was a wedding reception taking place we wouldn't have booked there. The number of booked guests because impacted waiting times , e.g. dining, check in. My daughter had a broken foot and there were no concessions made to book in quicker.

Staff mainly hospitable but initial treatment on arrival very dissatisfying.

Very disappointed with not being able to check in before 4 pm after long drive from the west and needing to change and freshen up. Offered disabled toilet by disgruntled staff member. Fan in room welcome but less than adequate for 30 degrees outside.

Não tem ar-condicionado, o quarto estava muito quente. O café era extremamente fraco (água transparente, pensei que fosse chá), apesar de ter reclamado, a funcionária disse que era assim mesmo. Atendimento ruim. Jamais ficaria nesse hotel novamente!

insgesamt ok aber nix besonderes.

Lage ist gut. Frühstück auch. Zimmer sind groß.

personal teilweise unorganisiert und wenig aufmerksam. nachmittags und abends kein service auf der an sich schönen geräumigen terrasse.tische dort werden nie abgewischt. man muss an der bar was holen und such dann an einen dreckigen tisch setzen ( wenn man das will). Lunch/ Snacks kann man dort nicht erhalten, sondern man muss bei bestem wetter in das düstere Lokal sitzen. Dort ist es zT eng und die tische zB für 4 oder 6 personen viel zu klein.
Zimmer hinten raus mit blick auf hinterhof wenig anziehend. keine klimatisierung, lüftungsmöglichkeiten eingeschränkt.
