The BEST hostel in China!
Pros:

As a full-time traveler, please trust my opinion when I say everything about this accommodation was/is perfect!...

Staff are super kind and welcoming- always happy to answer questions and give advice relating to Chengdu and onward travel and everything else in between. 🙏

Beds are comfortable in dorms, spacious cupboards for all luggage and side tables in pod are really useful. Clean/modern bathroom too. Fluffy towels and personalised slippers included.

Buffet breakfast is very tasty and plentiful.

Lunch/dinner menu extensive (from China, Korea, Thailand) and delicious!

Tour desk offers popular and unique tours within Chengdu and to other places, including Tibet! Would love to return in the future and use this multi-day service :)

Everything is comfortable, atmospheric, happy and chilled- the most amazing hostel I have ever stayed in!

Pros:

The location was super convenient being a short (10 - 15 minutes walk) from line 1. The staff were incredibly friendly, rooms were clean, the dorms have a private bathroom. Normally, I don't eat the included breakfast at hostels but this one was worth making an exception for. If I'm ever in Chengdu again, I would definitely try staying here again. They even remembered my birthday!

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like and this would be more me being nitpicky is that the outlets are spring loaded so my charger kept on falling out because of its weight. The other inconvenience is that in order for the lights to turn on you need to leave your roomkey in a slot by the door, not that big of a deal, but takes some coordination with roommates

Una bella sorpresa a Chengdu
Pros:

Bellissimo ostello con un rapporto qualità-prezzo difficilmente superabile.
Staff incredibilmente gentile, ci hanno anche dato colazione take-away la mattina in cui avevamo il treno presto.
La stanza è molto confortevole.

Il WC è inutilmente complesso, ma il bagno è comunque ottimo :)

Pros:

We had the most wonderful stay at Xishu Garden Inn! The location is great for exploring Chengdu, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Best of all, the staff are so friendly and helpful! They gave us some great suggestions, helped us book tickets, and organised a fantastic day trip to the Panda Research Base and Leshan. I highly recommend Xishu Garden Inn, and hope to visit again one day!

Exceptional staff and a perfect location
Pros:

The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet and very comfortable, and the beds were especially comfortable, ensuring an excellent night’s sleep. The hotel is located in a lively neighbourhood with plenty of shops, restaurants and local life, but without the crowds and overwhelming atmosphere of some of Chengdu’s busier streets. A wonderful place to stay, and one we would happily recommend.

The location is very near to Wenshu monastery, peaceful street with lots of food options. A small but cozy room. The staffs are so lovely and helpful, they speak English well and ready to assist you with anything. Lovely breakfast in a cute garden ❤️

Hotel moderno e personale stupendo
Pros:

La struttura è moderna e molto bella. Si trova in una posizione molto comoda per vedere una zona pedonale interessante. Il cortile interno e la sala colazione fanno la differenza, perché si può godere di un buon caffè seduto all'aria aperta. Il personale è molto accogliente e diligente, così come la colazione è ottima e variegata.
