Lovely clean room with a good price. Easy access, parking and no extra charge for dogs. Free breakfast included.

Slightly dated bathroom and bedroom but more than adequate for business or older clients
We’ve stayed here before, it’s ideal as our friends live in the area. We also ate there that night, the food was excellent. We had a big room ideal as we travelled with our dog. There was breakfast included in the cost which was very good and set us up for the day. We will be back next year, I would recommend staying here.
Nothing it was an ideal location, great food and a clean big room. Some of the staff seemed a bit brusque but unsure if I misunderstood how they spoke.

The staff were excellent, the price was very competitive, the food we had was very good. Generally a very good stay.
A couple of things that could be made better, i.e., the decoration, was a little tired, especially in the bathroom. The toilet roll holder was loose, and the bedroom ceiling light did not work. These are simple things that would make a lot of difference.
Wonderful restaurant, staff were great, bed was very comfortable.
Unfortunately unbeknown to the owners of which we made them aware as soon as we saw it, the TV screen when we turned it on had been cracked, looked like someone had thrown something at it!!! The manager did explain they had some unruly people staying in the room the night before. They also left a couple of holes in the wall. Not great for him or us to be honest. But these things happen and the owners can’t be blamed for that.
Lovely Italian restaurant with rooms. Rooms are clean, change of room as requested bath. All the staff were cheerful, accommodating and made our stay enjoyable.
Bathroom dated, difficult to control the water temperature in shower.
Excellent food and perfect location if you do not want to stay in the city, Hadrians Wall is close by and so are all the acces roads to go noths, south or west in your travels
