Liked the mineral pools and the location
The restaurant was closed both days of our stay. Wish I had of known I would have e booked different days.
Also our room was next to the maids laundry room it was very noisy at night.
Loved the hot springs and the front desk staff are wonderful. However, housekeeping is terrible. The rooms were not really cleaned well and some areas were absolutely filthy. Two times we were promised that housekeeping would be sent up but they never showed. Just before trying to get ready to check out, a glass pyrex exploded all over the kitchen. We were told housekeeping would be “right up” yet wasted 40 precious minutes waiting (we had much to do in the kitchen before we could leave). Finally we just put towels on the floor and packed up.
Very clean. Housekeeping staffs are awesome 💖
Too far from city
Older resort that needs updating and repairs where needed.
Needed updating in rooms.
Spacious room and good restaurant on-site.
We had a very disappointing experience during our stay. We were traveling as a group of four families with seven children. While we were checking in, the security guard began screaming at our children, which was extremely concerning and upsetting.
After we spoke with the guard about his behavior, he decided to quit on the spot and left the premises. This made us feel particularly uneasy about our safety and the security of the property. Unfortunately, it was already around 9 p.m., so changing hotels at that point was not a realistic option.
We chose this property because we believed it was a family-friendly hotel, but this incident left us deeply disappointed and uncomfortable. We hope management takes this matter seriously and ensures that guests, especially families with children, are treated respectfully and feel safe during their stay.
Location
Bedroom carpet stained/ dirty. Microwave had crack along bottom. Hot springs pools jets not working so they were calling them soaking pools now. Staff told us they were broken. Also had broken and chipped tiles around pools. Very disappointed in this as it was one of the reasons we picked this place to stay.
We stay four days and housekeeper never went y do our room we never get clean towels or take the trash out
Stayed for an anniversary getaway for 2 nights. Beautiful scenery surrounds the resort with breathtaking views. There are "hot springs" however if you are thinking the natural variety where you are climbing into a stone hole in the earth you willne disappointed. More like hot tubs but still relaxing and plenty of room. Genoa is a quick 5 minute drive and is a lovely town. Spent our evenings here at the local and oldest bar in Nevada. About an hour drive to Lake Tahoe, worth the drive for the scenery for sure. We would definitely stay here again.
Rooms were nicely furnished
We asked for rooms with view of Valley, we got rooms with view of tree. Pool area next to our room was not yet open for season so we had to walk a bit to get to other pool area. “Mineral springs” looked like any typical hot tub.
Location is excellent for access to Tahoe and surrounding area
The rooms were well kept and all the amenities were in place for morning coffee and for a pleasant evening chatting over a glass of wine
The spa facilities were well kept and the pool was so welcome!
I would have liked a cafe for a quick meal but appreciated that the shop had frozen quality entrees available
My room was perfect for me, would not change a thing. The restaurant had good food, yet, the service was very slow. I had to wait a long time for my food.
The service in the restaurant was very slow and the poor bartender had to mix the drinks AND deliver them.
