Fabulous. We stayed for 4 night which was just enough time to see the place.
Pros:

Location was fabulous and its history is quite remarkable.
The restaurant food was amazing.

Cons:

It was built in 305AD when the people were smaller so the rooms are not spacious BUT the public area are and it’s very well looked after - the staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble.

Charming and Clean Hotel in a Great Location

Charming place to stay in the Historic palace.
Pros:

Loved the historical building and surrounding courtyard. Well maintained and beautiful. Walkable to many shops and restaurants, as well as the Riva. Coffee and Breakfast were delicious. Such a charming place to stay!

Cons:

Our mattress was a little sloped to one side.

Beautiful experience with a lovely hotel and exceptional staff
Pros:

Lovely location
We were at Villa Doric
The rooms are a tad small.The staff are excellent.
We found there was no kettle in the room
We asked for one and got it promptly
One word of warning
There are stairs everywhere. They are steep.So be careful lugging your suitcase
We are vegetarian
The first day we were off for a boat trip
The staff packed us a baguette each with some fruit and yogurt
Thoughtful right?
Overall very nice place

Cons:

Like I said be aware of stairs and don’t expect large rooms

Modern and Clean with Amazing Staff
Pros:

The staff is amazing - helping us navigate the city, recommending restaurants, and making car arrangements to the airport with a special breakfast since we had an early departure. Good location.

Tips: remember to tell hotel when you arrive at the walled city so they can help navigate through steps and hallways.

Location can’t get more central or the staff more helpful!
Pros:

Excellent location and the most helpful and proactive staff. The hot water wasn’t working the first day and the staff made sure it was sorted asap. Excellent restaurant recommendations provided as well. Breakfast in the square with music driving in from the singers in the Vestibule will be a core memory of Split.

Cons:

Towel rack was unusually high. Odd placement for a loft duplex which taller people are unlikely to book. Still, this is an easy fix and everything else was great.
