Our room was a bit small for this budget .
Our room was a bit smaller than expected
The staff were very good, especially Tony the duty manager at the Villa Dobric. The location was good too
We didn't realise that we would be staying in what is essentially an apartment block separate from the main hotel. The facility had no atmosphere to speak of and the air-conditioning was hopeless, other guests were complaining too. The staff did their best and brought a pedestal fan to our room which helped a bit but didn't really overcome the situation.

Nous avons séjourné dans une chambre qui n’a point été photographiée, un duplex qui propose peu d’espace, dont l’escalier menant à la mezzanine est étroit et ne possède pas de rampes —> dangereux. (La chambre d’en face avait une clim cassée)
Concernant le petit déjeuner, pareil on nous ment sur la présentation , il est fade petit dej basique digne d’un deux étoiles et encore…
Le personnel fut gentil mais lorsque nous avons relaté la réalité, pour la chambre on nous a dit que celle d’en face était presque la même ( faux) et pour le petit dej on nous a répondu et fait comprendre qu’il y avait une différence de niveau entre l’annexe et l’hôtel.

Weak AC in the room
The location is great. Just a short walk to restaurants, bus stop, and taxis. The rooms are tucked away enough that is it not noisy at night.
Location to old town
The room smelled like sewer water. There was clearly some backed up plumbing somewhere in the hotel. Secondly, the fire alarm went off one night and the guy working the night shift had no idea what to do or how to shut it off. One of the other guests had to figure it out. Went off for an hour. Luckly no fire, but a bit concerning that there was no plan of what to do to investigate, account for guests and how to shut off. Guy was clueless.
The location couldn’t be better for being in the hub of Split old town. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The food equisite. A brilliant start to a holiday in Croatia
Can’t complain
Absolutely a gem of a hotel. Unique, hidden among the walls of Diocletians Palace. A small, beautiful, ultra modern hotel which works in this location. Wonderful staff, professional and charming. Rooms are lovely.

This place was absolutely beautiful in your head right in the middle of everything you need. Everything was modernized and very clean. The staff were exceptional with their customer service and accommodations. This is a must study place.
We truly appreciated the attention to detail from the concierge staff from the minute we arrived up to our 4 AM departure to meet our Uber driver. Petra even brought us breakfast to go to the airport!
Das Hotel wurde sehr stielvoll in die alten Mauern vom Diokletianpalast gebaut. Die Lage zum Vestibül und zur Riva ist perfekt. Das Morgenessen war sehr stielvoll und hat zum Hotel gepasst. Der Parkservice für das Auto war top.
