Pros:

My family had the most comfortable stay at Samurai House 2 in our first holiday to Nagoya. The house was kept extremely clean and well. The washing machine and dryer came in really handy for our long stay in Japan :) The location is just minutes walk from the nearest subway station which happened to be a Terminal station after Nagoya station - makes travelling out really convenient! We found a few small local restaurants that serve really great food in the same neighborhood - (Check out Kato Udon and Yamatoya.) Big thanks to the host Mayo-san for welcoming us on the first day. Appreciate her help to arrange for a bigger taxi reservation so that my family can all head to the train station in one taxi to catch our airport train early in the morning. I highly recommend families and big groups to stay here:)

Clean, comfortable accommodation.
Pros:

Very spacious. Clean. Host was helpful and allowed us to check in early due to arriving train times. Very good location. Highly recommended.

Cons:

Not as close to Nagoya station as I had hoped (but close to a metro station which helped).

おもてなしと気遣いが素晴らしいお宿です。
Pros:

ホストの方のおもてなしと心遣いが素晴らしかったです。以前にSAMURAI HOUSE 3に宿泊して、とても良かったので、今回はSAMURAI HOUSE 2に宿泊しました。チェックインの時にはホストの方が対面で出迎えてくれ、家の説明をしてくださいます。駐車場も完備なのが助かりますし、地下鉄桜通線『太閤通』駅まで徒歩すぐ。太閤通駅から名古屋駅までは一駅です。連泊すると数回のお掃除もしてくださり、とても快適に過ごすことができました。ありがとうございました！

Pros:

The location is perfect. Located near the last station on Sakuradori line. It is just 1 stop away to Nagoya station. Hence it is not too crowded even during peak hours. Very convenient to use it as a base to travel around Nagoya. The host is very helpful and responsive. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable.
