Parking was close by but not easy We did not use the recommended parking but found some where else
The room was clean and comfortable, the shower nice and strong and the coffee making facilities great as a pod machine instead of instant. The staff were friendly and polite. The food was delicious, My evening meal (Spicy prawns and chips) was a decent amount and reasonably priced. The breakfast was amazing, full English was really good and the sausages were exceptional.
Wi-Fi was not the best but usable.

Parking only available in quite a dilapidated car park next door, which closes overnight so you can’t access if you get there late. Furnishings were quite old and worn, stains on carpets.

Having to get up for 8am to put a parking ticket on the car in the multi story car park with broken lift next door to the hotel ( not the fault of the hotel as it’s run by the council. )
Helpful friendly staff, but lots of sweary customers
This pub has no right to claim parking on its website. It has none.There is a municiple car park next door. This is locked at 8pm by the local Coop employee and opened at 7am by the same person. You needto get there before the Traffic Warden if you are long stay. Tickets have to be bought daily and before his arrival, I was caught at 9.02am. When I queried this with the pub landlord I was told 'nothing to do with us' and he had no idea of how the parking fiasco operated. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

Nice large room with satellite TV , comfortable bed. Lovely choice for breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Good central location.

Lovely bright and clean facilities and perfect for a place to get your head down whilst visiting local events. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, good food and shower was lovely and powerful. Nice little welcoming touches too. Would definitely visit again.
