Hotel Manor - Datchet

The attic room we had, had very low ceilings and a constant 'wet plaster' smell. The only ventilation was through sky lights. Had to use the same towel for the 3 night stay, there was no housekeeping at all, no tea, coffee or sugar available. No tea spoons and only 1 cup in the room. When enquired at reception, we were told there was a problem with the laundry supplier and given 1 dessert spoon and another mug. Room had not been cleaned when we arrived, a large hair ball was clearly visible by the side of the bed. There were no toiletries available at all, luckily we always take our own and we ended up having to buy our own toilet paper, as non was supplied.

No procedure for emergency evacuation or signs and arrows. You be Dead if there's a fire in attick where we were sleeping, no muster point in case of emergency.

Shower only14 inch wide the curtain stuck to our bodies whilst showering.
Room 335 in attick. We booked for two nights. Management promised us an appropriate room change the next day this did not materialise. We left one day early in disgust.
I am requesting a full refund for this over rated hotel.
I would not recommend this hotel to any off my family friends or associate s.

This hotel is tired. Although clean, the furnishings need updating. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, the mugs were mismatched and chipped. The parking is limited and we had to pay for 24 hour parking at the train station. The price was fair for the location and with some investment, this hotel could be great.

Noise from train tracks...... landing Flights at Heathrow very noisy if you need to open windows for any reason such as weather.. unfortunately my stay was terrible no Air-conditioning in the Hotel..

Parking is confusing . Cobwebs in corners and no tea or coffee.

Toilet was blocked, room very hot and very noisy from the road, airport and railway crossing.

Rooms were smaller than I expected.

It was very run down, shabby and in need of improvement. The room was unbearably hot, the radiator in the bathroom couldn’t be turned off. Some of the sockets didn’t work, some were taped up. The room was small and smelled of cigarette smoke. We left a day early because it was so bad. There was a heatwave but the room temperature in the rest of the hotel was noticeably cooler than the room which was too hot to sleep in, even with the windows open.

Cleanliness was poor, facilities were lacking and the building was hot and falling apart. If you can plan in advance, there are better options nearby.
