Absolutely cracking!..nothing more to say!
Staff were lovely, beautiful pub.
Kettle too big for the sink, the drawer unit too high for kettle. No tray for spoons cups. One bedside light.
Small double.
Toilet roll holder actually behind you on the loo!!!!
Rather cheap. Little bags of treats given. Accept dogs for additional fees
Basic small room, not extremely clean, no food on site or accessible by foot
Bed, pillows comfortable, plenty of towels , nice shower
Would have been nice to have had a chair in the room and a larger tv
The room was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. The staff were extremely welcoming and did everything they could to make our stay a comfortable one.
Nothing
Staff and accommodation all good
Towel rail too close to toilet. Burn knees if rail is on!
Decent little room but nothing as advertised
central heating was off so had an electric heater instead, no food on site apart from a burger van, was hoping for some british pub food but settled for dominos instead
In a lovely village setting.
Nothing
A great stop over for a night. A warm welcome from the staff at the bar and a cosy fire and a drink settled us in. The room was clean and had all we needed (extra heater if it was too cold at night). Providing robes and slippers was a nice touch and was appreciated.
They now provide a breakfast bag as there is nowhere to eat nearby that we could see. This was fine as we weren’t expecting to have anything until we’d stopped off somewhere.
Nothing really. It’s more of a motel set up with chalet style rooms. Decor a little tired but clean and tidy and we had a great night’s sleep.
We were made very welcome when we arrived, and also in the pub, which is part of the hotel.
There are self contained ensuite rooms behind it, which are very clean, warm, and the bed is very comfortable.
The staff were friendly, room was clean
It would be a lot better if they could have served food, or even just a breakfast
Location was excellent for our needs. Breakfast snack were quite disappointing.
Not having a shower in the bathroom and only 2 tea bags for an overnight stay.
Pur essendo arrivati in tarda serata, siamo stati accolti calorosamente, con tanto di colazione per la mattina seguente.
La camera è molto semplice, senza grandi confort
The owner was very friendly and welcoming, the room lovely and the bed very comfortable.
Its also in a good location if you're going to a concert at Audley End House.
Our room didn't have a shower and only had a bath.
Friendly staff, clean and bed comfortable .
a little dated but was clean and tidy
