Falsely got scammed

Cons:

I have booked this place, and the staff and reception confirmed we can't stay overnight there. If you are leaving by 8:30, I will give you a room; otherwise, ask for a refund from Booking.com. As we were tired and wanted rest and a bath, we took that and left the property by 7:00. You can cross-check with the hotel register for the in and out times.They stated that customers from nearby areas were not permitted and that we could not stay.Our experience was extremely disappointing. We had paid in advance through Booking.com, and since it was Sunday, we had no other alternatives. Furthermore, Booking.com did not indicate that staying under these circumstances was not possible. I had traveled from Thane, which is about 40km away from the fort area, and would have stayed closer if I had known.Our overall experience was a major disappointment, especially considering we paid over 3000 rupees for only three hours. I noticed an email requesting feedback, so I wanted to share my experience. I will not be using this platform again.

Best location, value for money
Pros:

Location of hotel is excellent, bang on Flora Fountain, just at A1 gate of Hutatma Chowk Aqua line (M3). Walking distance to Churchgate, Marine Lines and Gate Way of India

Cons:

Rooms are very small, unclean, stinky, no food service, no cloak room, very small lift and passage, very less lighting

Lovely place to stay
Pros:

In the center of south Mumbai close to métro in a quiet street. That is very convenient. Manager is very helpful.

Friendly stuff, good location for sightseeing.
Pros:

The staff is nice and helpful. The room was clean and had air conditioning. I asked to leave my luggage at the hotel before and after my stay. It was not a problem. They also offered help with my questions about the city, helped me get an Indian SIM card and helped me carry my luggage to the taxi when I was leaving.

One thing to keep in mind is that taxi drivers will not know exactly where the hotel is and they can’t drop you right at the front doors. You will need to walk a bit.
